I'm in Camp: Everything In Moderation.
I know full well that Poppy has a little chocolate and Organix crisps at my Mums and I'm fine with that as she very rarely has them at home. She eats healthily, is not a fussy eater and will try most things so I don't gasp anymore when Mum tells me!:D.

Evening (or should that be night) all?
I am rather impressed with myself I have got Daniel 5 prezzies for Christmas already! Haven't even thought about DH's 30th present and I need that for next week!!

No Elle, your much more of an inspiration hun, your amazing
Weaning, the boys were weaned at about 14/15 weeks, the guidelines were 4 months and I had been told to wean them early. DS1 wasn't ready (5 weeks early) but I was told to keep at it, he just spat most of it back out and didn't really eat till he was over the 4 months. DS2 was more than ready (he was 7 weeks early). And I made it all myselfMainly because the smell of jarred and tinned food made me gag! But they loved the little pots of fruit puree and I used some of it to mix in baby porridge and rice and stuff.
DS2 is growing up, he didn't cry once when I washed his hair earlier! :T0 -
MFD - and everyone else... you know Mothercare has the Bumbo reduced at the moment right?
Down to about £26
I'm incidently bidding on one online - 30 mins to go!!!(well 40... but still!)
Alexandra can sit on our laps unaided - as in I keep a loose hold of her butt to stop her wobbling off just in case - but she basically sits up by herself and happily looks round at the world... everyone always seem amazed at her headcontrol - have done since she was born as she was trying to keep her head up the same day she was born! Maybe it's all linked?DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
Just as we expected they would, they're now playing "keeping up with the Jones" and having work done to their house. They're changing their utility into a room (it's off the garage and unplastered so they're having it plastered and changing the door or something) - apparently the plan is to make it into a computer room, "just like Craig's"
Some people just can't help themselves they cannot be seen to be lesser people and unfortunately that usually revolves around materialistic possessions. Have you never noticed that when one person on the street gets a new car suddenly 3/4 of the street have new ones within 6 mths or if someone has their house painted theirs a dozen more done before the paint dry's.
I wonder if your hubby dyes his hair pink if they'd copy.:rolleyes:[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

But you've already been there and done it. I'm still learning..Weaning, the boys were weaned at about 14/15 weeks, the guidelines were 4 months and I had been told to wean them early. OH is already looking forward to batch cooking purees from the overstocks of FILs allotment. Apparently we're going to have Sunday afternoon batch cooking sessions..DS2 is growing up, he didn't cry once when I washed his hair earlier! :T
HurrahI worked out earlier that Rhys much prefers me washing his hair with a flannel and not just my hand.. picky kid! Any more success on the nappies for DS2 or is that on hold for now? Not like you haven't got enough on your hands!

It could find it's way by fairy email although I don't remember how big it is..
Nine days to go.. Getting excited? How exactly do you find out - letter, phone call, telepathy?
I am trying not to think about it...and trying not to spend so much time on the computer during the day unless Benjamin is asleep.
The guy I am going to be working with will get an email and then I guess he will call me!! I am piggybacking on the back of his company because I obv don't have the 3 years accounts which are needed - his job goes hand in hand with mine and they are being tendered as a single package.
It's confusing though because we have only done the 1st stage so far. If we get through this bit (about proving that we are capable of doing the job and providing evidence of what we have done in the past) then we have to do another bit about what we would actually do once in post...we will have about 6 weeks to write that bit (along with a max of 4 other companies) then they will decide who gets the job...this saga is set to run and run!!!
I really want a holiday before I do any more work!! I am currently scouring last minute deals
Will pm you a fairy email addressplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

best way to do it by far and if OH is willing to help even better, thats how we did it and it's great just defrost what you need.Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
LOL sorry but have to laugh at that.

What winds us up is that they get huge handouts from his Granny all the time and when we said we were going to get everything done to the house before Rhys came along (well, his due date at least!), we knew they'd be straight to Granny, asking for more  They actually said once "Yeah, we think it'll cost a few grand - we'll tell Granny next time we're up there and she'll pay"... she's a pensioner for God's sake!
We're always waiting for the next time they jump on the bandwagon - the guy only joined the forces because OH did (OH was RAF but the RAF wouldn't have the mate so he went in the Army) We're waiting for the next "accident" to come along - the mate was always fiercely adamant he wasn't having kids (wasn't going to get married until his now-wife threatened to leave him after 9 years together), but then the wife started flushing her Pills down the loo and they ended up with their now 17mth old. As soon as she sees Rhys, I bet ya she'll be doing it again!0
