But I doubt they would take it if it is low value.
He could also argue on disability grounds as well.
Hi KP. You could always quote the Disability Discrimination Act too, although I have to say whilst in that Act it states "reasonable adjustments" should be made for disability, many companies just seem to ignore it anyway which has been my experience. I may sound cynical, its just sadly the way it is to me. It depends how much fight you have in you to stand your ground, but knowing that Act could help you. Im working, self employed, disabled on my left side, prone to falling over more, I have in the last couple of years finally qualified for mobility which is just wonderful, discovered that I should have been claiming for Disability benefits since I was 18, which I now am, Im 44 years old now!!, so this could be an option too, although again depending on what your husbands disability is he may not qualify for mobility. Despite not being able to use my left arm, and having a limp, and in recent years needing to get about with a new born baby w/o my husband in my life it was only when I started to fall over that I qualified. The criteria is v black and white, but again it could be an option for you too. All the best, and keep going. You will get through, we all will Im sure with the support on these boards!!!My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
May 2013 £124,080.27= £37,903.50 paid off WOW!!!!! Well done! There is a guardian angel out there! :AI'm visualising success, debt freeness, and happy days!:T0 -
Thank you guys you are stars
ISOM I know he is a nightmare I just have to grin and bear with it at the moment.
Hello P&F :hello:
OH gets Incapacity benefit at the higher rate and was getting the lowest care element of DLA although Im not sure if he still gets that or nothe should do as nothing has changed. Doesnt qualify for mobility as legs are fine but the car is useful when Im at work so he can get out of the house, do errands etc. I think it helps with what little sanity is left after being ill for so long.
Hopefully they wont want the car he paid them a small amount this week so I am hoping that will keep things at bay.:j0 -
NSD today but have to add £67 for shopping, £20 for DD1 guides and school lunches on. Dont think OH is going to pay me the 30 he owes  so may have to add that on as well.:j0

Hi KP...just sending you a big hug. You seem to have so much patience with your OH. I don't know how you do it...I know I couldn't!
The thing to keep remembering is it won't always be like this and all the ups and downs you're having will make becoming debt free so much sweeter for it.
Hope the rest of the week goes okay for you.

Yes fine thanks just nothing of interest to say except I seem to keep spending on things at the moment
.
Also I guess I feel guilty because I know Im going to blow the xmas budget this year on the kids becasue I will feel bad if I dont. I know they will be happy will smaller pressies but I wantto really see them happy with getting what they want and not justwhat I can afford right now. I have a BNP Nov 10 offer on the catalogue so thinking of usint that to budget. So not MSE. I do have some ideas to use the Tesco points to get "free" gifts to help offset a bit.:j0
