You'll be able to get loads with that amount.Everywhere is having sales so there are bargains to be had.
  • :A Thank you :A

I know £500 sounds a lot but that includes quite a few people and those that dare to have birthdays around this time - including DD1 and OH!!!

Done the budget for the month and to cover groceries, diesel, cataolgue bill and everyones "pocket money" I have a budget of £565. This helps last month so hope I can do it again. Last month we were good on spends nothing big came up so that helped.

I am £106 short for the month but thats without expenses that should cover it. Rent has nicely gone up by £25 ish a month my annual xmas pressie from the landlords .

Am so jealous when people can do a budget.
It's the one thing I can't do as I don't know how much will come in or go out and we have so many variables it's impossible.
  • that would be a nightmare for me too taxi. Do you know roughly what you need to breakeven in a week/month?

Budgetting for me is hard enough just trying to remeber everything and there is always that extra thing or two that crops up !

Spent £8 at local shop, £1 to DD1 and £70ish online. The latter will be lower wont know until tomorrow. It never fails to amaze me at all the different things we need week to week. I go given a load of food from a neighbour who moved and I still spent £70. It was £80 before I trimmed it. Flaming kids eat too much!!!!

Not really KP...as income is never a given...diesel is very variable...never know when car repair may be needed...car being broken also means time off work..so can result in a loss of earnings plus the cost of repair..though at the moment all major work covered under warranty...also differs how much we need for income tax.
All other costs for business are pretty static...subs,car payments,cc machine, badges, medicals,
Outgoings for house are pretty static as well and are all DD but go out all over the month!!!
Think what I need to do is when I have a load of spare money....so that 2 months bills are covered is to try and get all DDs on say the 1st of the month..then that gives me chance to save it all during the month and only make overpayments after that date IYSWIM.
  • Shopping came to £62 so not too bad

Spent £2.69 yesterday - 1.69 on pasta  (darling DD2 got glutin and wheat free pasta lol) and £1 to DD2 for going.

£15 spent today of which half was on DD1 who needed new underwear. Off out n about for the next two days so may need diesel and will have to be good with lunches.

Oh and latest on OH is the wally has got himself a ccj so now I fear his car will get taken . Trying not to think about that though.

  • I have a work car so thats safe but I kept an old run around for OH to use when Im at work for the kids (downgraded my non work car last year to make a profit to go towards the debt) . Its in his name not worth much but I wouldnt be able to replace it if they took it. If they did he would suffer but I begrudge them taking a car I paid for and put pretty much all the money into.
