ooo I hate nights although I haven't worked them for a while now!

I'm not actually getting married at the moment, I was due to get married in October but due to financial contraints putting a BIG strain on our relationship we called it off a few weeks ago!

I hope to get married one day but at the moment were concentrating on paying out debts off and rebuilding our relationship

Ive been on the up your income thread and im considering party planning particularly body shop at home, just not sure if I have the bottle though - eeekkk!

I was supposed to be going out tonight, however as im in debt free mind set decided agaist it - OH kept insisting I go (he lives in a dream world) and he gave me £20 sooooo I took the money and I am paying it off my nationwide account tommorow

Love I am with you on that I had to cancel mine fir 2008 hence why I just got married this yeAr it was like a weight had been lifted I know the pain it causes to cancel but it made me reassess amounts we were willing to spend. If u need an ear I'm here x

Thanks Happytogetdebtfree it has been hard at the moment, I was due to go for a dress fitting today but have just phoned and cancelled and requested to send someone to collect my dress. I purposely rang before the shop opened so i could leave a voicemail instead of actually talking to someone (wimp!)

The only strain at the moment is that 2 suppliers (1 being the venue) are demanding money from us. The venue have really wound me up cos although we signed a contract stating we would pay 100% if we cancelled between 0 - 11 weeks, they have come up with a ridiculus figure.

We hadn't confirmed any meals or drinks packages etc, and they sent us a second contract a couple of days ago with all "our choices" and said thats what we owed. We have never seen this second contract, although they insist they sent it out to us last month. However it states at the bottom that unless we both sign its not confirmed, well neither of us signed as neither of us has ever seen it. So at the moment were seeking legal advice. Don't get me wrong I dont mind paying some money but not what they have requested! Wedding industry is a nightmare, I don't envy anyone who works in it!

Luckily when we cancelled we hadn't shelled much out and we rethought about the budget spend u can certainly get carried away with things and amounts you spend. If you do have to pay the company I'd make them go at a pace that suits you if u explain things x

Dont think they are keen on being helpful as they said they wanted the money within 14 days, we will just have to sit tight and get ready for a bumpy ride! OH mum and her partner are helping us so thats good!

Anyway I have paid some money off the very catalogue this morning, not actually due till the start of next month but thought I would get the payment out the way while I had the money!

Minimum payment was £48 but I paid £100 - Im excited about the very catalogue as my balance is now below £1000 but with an APR of 39% I need to pay more the minimum repayments to see it being chipped away at!

I've just contacted the body shop at home website, think I might give it ago not got much to lose, and once i start uni I will have to reduce my hours at work so need the extra more than ever!

Not sure if its for me, as im not overly confident but hey ho we'll see!

Im going to sign off now as i'm at work this afternoon so going to start and get ready!

Hey well done for paying 100 pound on catalogue keep up the good work just chip away one step at a time dont read the balance and get rid of the cards i just pay now and get a nice surprise when i decide to look hehe have a good day at work im on long day tomorrow so im resting up this afternoon real tired x

Just got home from work and feeling knackered, back there at 8am - boooooo

Gonna have a cuppa tea and some MSE browsing then off to bed me thinks!

I keep thinking about booking a weekend away but then I talk myself out of it! think I will have a nice time but then regret it once i'm home - so not really sure what to do

think im just feeling sorry for myself!
