Another day below freezing....Brrrrrrrrr! Is it my imagination or is the central heating on a go slow?

Well, the tree is up :xmastree:, Mount Kilimanjironing has disappeared :T, the spare bedroom is reclaimed :j(just in case an absconding monkey turns up ;))..but the lounge now also has another piggie cage ..- Muffin poor mite is peeing blood. She's already on the best antibiotic so not worried it is an infection - this is mechanical :o. Managed to get the last bag of pearl barley in Tatco express this afternoon and it is now on the boil to make a gloop for her prior to going to vets tomorrow (suspect bladder stones - but confused as her previous X ray was clear )

Unfortunately Xmas day is going to be a bit of a downer as my sis will aslo be there. I have seen her twice in the last 18 months - the last time being at the b'day party in June when Smashed came with me. I am not looking forward to this at all.....but I want/need to see my dad as it will be the first time I am "invited" following his TIA. I hope she doesn;t start WW3.....because I will run away

The car has been dug out, unfrozen and is now moved onto the main road ready to mobilise tomorrow morning. :D:D (wol awards herself a large glass of wine)

The bridge, back path to Piggie Palace and path to my front door are now cleared/rock salted/cleared again..(Wol awards herself another large glass of wine )..and hopefully I should now escape any possible court action if the postie breaks his leg tomorrow :rotfl:

Also got rosy "lower" cheeks (fell down on the ice several times :rotfl::rotfl:)
    [STRIKE]Wol awards herself[/STRIKE]

I bought some lamb steaks earlier for a roastie-type dinner tonight....nom nom nom.....to brighten my day

BUT.....no Xmas pressie shopping done yet...and I have seriously not managed to get myself "in the mood" for Xmas - or indeed anything else (Including the accounts )

For whatever reason I still feel entirely in limbo land and just want the world to bog off :o...and it's all starting to seriously worry me that for some reason I cannot (have not for the last two months) kicked myself up the backside (like I have always been so very good at doing in the past) and just get on with it

What is WRONG with me :wall::wall::wall::wall:

I think we all have periods like that to a greater or lesser degree TBH.
I personally think that the time of year helps either.
    Take care.

Wol, it's not that there's something wrong with you....let's face it, you've had a carp couple of months, what with the piggies and everything. Even the strongest of people have times like this in life, and the "season to be jolly" is probably the worst time for testing our resolve.

Hang in there, try and chill a bit, stop worrying about it and keep doing your diary so that we can all lend support (and a well-placed size 10 Dr Marten to your jacksie if really needed :D) It'll come right in the end.....

    Thanx GJ

Those DM's would be useful for navigating the snow :rotfl::rotfl:

I have "done" the Xmas shopping :T:T.....in the midst of a howling blizzard that bought middle south east to a standstill this pm...luckily the worst missed us and dropped it;s load 10 miles north in a band from Basingstoke to London (sorry Lula :o) to ensuing traffic chaos

Muffin has decided to be completely "cured" in anticipation of the vets this morning - clearly that pearl barley/cranberry gloop seems to be working a treat. :D

Grommie, Maple, Muffin and Beech are going into vulture vets for echocardiogram on wednesday...we now need to find about extent of heart problems in thosepigs showing bad respiratory signs still despite the antibio's.

Tomoz, weather permitting, I am taking my neighbour out for Xmas lunch (annual thing, my turn this year - not sure about the Xmas snog though) and then (again, weatherpermitting) will be going down the A3 to drop a few pressies off/see my counsellor.

Having phoned my own personal samaritan tonight and I now have a list (thanx Z :kisses3:)...
    a) change all low level light bulbs to nice bright ones
    b) see my GP about repeat prescription/anti-d's/diet and coeliac results and finally get second referral ref hand op
    c) go back to eating main meal early in the afternoon instead of late at night
    d) stop buying more wine :o

Also thanx Beanie Hun for the phone call :kisses3:..

Off to sleep and try to stop unravelling.....:o
