Wol..please PM me your number I have mislaid it:rolleyes:

Freezing here but no snow as yet but it is forecast..yippee..it means that its warming up when that arrives:cool: Managed to shift two bags of rubbish into the bin and managed to get my old rug downstairs and into the bin:D Laid new rug yesterday and its gorgeous and keeps my tootsies warm (my lounge looks instantly bigger). Still have presents to wrap and I need to tackle the pile of filing that has taken over two seats of the sofa - if I get rid of it then I can stretch oud :D Temp here is -2 Lugged a heavy bag of magazines and folded up boxes to the paper bank - avoiding the icy bits, nipped to corner shop for newspaper and a bag of aunt bessies roasties (I have no spuds). Have written further letter of complaint to the hospital and sent evidence that they don't ask patients to take their appointment letters with them...I am going to ask if I can sort out their office systems and see if I can get commission for it (I will leave this until I have a face to face with them).

Sorry to learn that the M54 piggies are not fake - somehow I have a horrid fear that they have been scoffed by Mr Fox. Mind you if the RSPCA were a little more receptive to people then maybe folks wouldnt feel the need to dump their animals:rolleyes:

Enjoy the snow - am slightly envious.

Good afternoon Wol, am hibernating against the snow at present and finishing off last minute jobs before Christmas. Sounds like your guinea pig might be a bit sensitive to antibiotics, like lots of humans are!

    HiNargle

Yep too right.... piggies are sensitive to antbiotics - in fact giving the wrong antibiotic will kill a piggy and unfortunatey too few vets know the right ones to give...the most common ones (like penicillin etc) will strip out the gut flora and allow the deadly clostridium bug to take hold and the poor piggie dies painfully within 24 hours from the toxin (hence even though he was on a safe drug, Beechie's diarrhoea caused real concern). Luckily it would appear that Beechie was just suffering from an overindulgence of green veggies :o

Have you got snow yet? it's !!!!!!!' freezin' here......I am still in hibernation..haevn;t been outside for 48 hours now except to journey from the back door to Piggie Palace
