So there was I minding my own business, put Beech into the car to go to the V.E.T......only to find a load of white wolley faces appear at the top of the drive..........a small group of Shaun's friends and relations (Thanx for sending them over Shaun )...were calmly munching away on one of the outside lawns despite the fact it is a busy road junction :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:...

Unfortunately they weren't there when I got back.....so piggies haven't quite escaped their duties.....

But how utterly spooky ref recent chat about live lawnmowers.....

    hi Wol
Lovely to see your sense of humour so not sure if i should post this but OH has just told me that my older piggie Possom has gone to piggie heaven so we'll be having a funeral tonight when i get home. Possibly by candlelight depending on what time i can escape from work.
Not in the best frame of mind for work, but can't escape as awaiting a big project to do which has to be done asap but they won't send me the details grrrr!

Sorry to hear that LT - I know they have short little lives, but that doesn't stop us loving them. I was just remembering this morning how, when I would lie on my side in bed, one of cats would come and slump herself down in the crook of my knees. I loved it..........
    dippy tart client
    I love that too!

And Z - I never thought of that about flip phones! What a selling point, truly. **and** its the one thats most like a Star Trek communicator :D

In other news. Wol!!!! Wol!!!! You were right!!!!! I've just had the first estate agent round, and he says £270k - £300k! :j I'm very excited!

    Aww Lemon Tree :grouphug::grouphug:

Wol and piggies are all very sorry to hear about Possum .

    Don't forget your mummy here
Her cheeks so wet with salty tears
Don't forget the times we played
peek a boo inside your hay
    Don't forget my cheery "hey"
When I came home from a hard day

I won't forget your loving paw
Or your piggy kisses on my jaw
    I won't forget when I was blue
You seemed to know and loved me too
When the time comes that you go far away
One day I will join you and again we will play"

Hugs Hun...we will all say a prayer for Possum tonight as she crosses the Rainbow Bridge

But Star Trek never needed it, because everything clipped to their belt. I don't think *any* of them had pockets.

I guess it did seem to prevent provocatively unseemly bulges around the hip area...

But unfortunately, as they got older, the skin tight shirts didn't :rotfl::rotfl:

    Aww bless...of course I don;t mind....what a little cutie..

She is so very similar to Whisp ..they both have the sticky out fur on their bums :rotfl:.....they could be cousins!!

Whisp when she was very little (she was the runt of a litter of 5)

and here she is with her daughter in March last year

Hope your other two girlies will give you lots of snuggles as you come to terms with losing Possom.......she was clearly a much loved piggie.

Well it's still the old roller coaster here today.

Beechie's lungs are full of fluid.....vets have agreed he has been on antibiotics too long for this to be respiratory infection and that they are now convinced he is a heart pig so have prescribed medication for him and Muffin :j:j
Hopefully it is not too late for them both as they are now very lethargic s fingers crossed.

The bad news is both Grommie and Whisp are making horrendous breathing sounds tonight ....so the action plan is to put Grommie back on ab's and also start treating Whisp; both will go to vets for X ray to check lungs/heart on friday together with Ginger (to have his eye sorted) and Fleure (she too will have X ray to check on stone progress as it is possible they are now starting to come down from the kidneys and are getting stuck)

This weekend will be devoted completely to cleaning and disinfecting all cages/bowls etc; hoovering piggie palace to get rid of dust and sorting out the heating in there to minimise daily temperature variations. There is nothing more I can do......and I really am starting to feel a bit helpless...

Nevertheless the humour is still intact....:D...although I have to admit to shedding a few tears for poor Possum, Lemon Tree and family today :(

Right - off to eat and try and get an early night as facing early morning road rage on the M25 tomorrow...but luckily it;s half term :D
