...keep up the good work with them piggies hun, sounds like some good progress with Fleure Hope the vet's sympathetic if you do go over there today....and STOP thinking about if he's eye-candy just now....that can wait 'till he's healed the pigs first

She's only lost 20g overnight .......and is taking the syringe with less fuss now. Off to new vets in a mo to get some more fluids into her. Am seeing the new (young) vet there and it says on the website he is specialising in lagomorphs (i.e. a "bunny boy" :rotfl:)

Phew......lovely vet (:drool::drool::drool::drool:...behave Wol:rotfl:) found nothing untoward and suspects teeth so Fleure is booked in with them for dental first thing tomorrow morning. Gave her fluids and anti-inflamm/painkilling injections to last for 24 hours..and told me to keep up the antibiotics and force feeding.

So I'm happy now she has had the right treatment......and hopefully now she's had the painkiller she might be tempted to eat some mashed solid food later (combined with Grommie's poos....:eek:.yes yes I know, sounds gross, but it helps get back the right bacteria into her gut )

Even more good news..they are an accredited hospital facility, don;t outsource out of hours service to a third party)....have sunday surgery ...and their charges are far more reasonable......Result! :j:j
