:eek::eek:.....Come back Numpty....bring back the sunshine please :p

...We have had thunderstorms, torrential rain and flash floods since you got on the coach ._pale__pale_......me and piggies have been holed up inside the house all afternoon with the lights on it's been so dark......It was a very close call.._pale__pale_.......the worst of the rain (one inch in less than an hour) missed us by only 10 miles ...(Wol sends grateful thanks skywards)...so chez Wol is still dry :j:j :T:T:T ....but unfortunately poor old Uckfield High Street was flooded....again :(

    Thank you for everything Hun:A:A:kisses2:

Hopefully see you back again soon (this time for a well-earned rest!!)

P.S. (Vet checked out Beechie and Ginger this evening and has pronounced them fine and fit so they were clearly faking it this morning ;))

Even i was scared by the looks he was getting - you know when sharks go into a feeding frenzy...

That would explain me laughing so hard wouldn't it - fear does that to people sometimes.

    :D

Hope you're feeling better now Wol. Numpty - look after her for us won't you?

I'm much better thanks George - I think the relief/disbelief that finally the last three years of frustration and emotional trauma had ended suddenly hit home (although I had had a few grizzles, there hadn;t really been time to sit down and bawl my eyes out in between kicking out the builders and all the organisation for the Rave and I had been running on adrenaline for weeks :o)

I'm so pleased you enjoyed yourself - (and over the moon you managed to find us :p:p)......it was really lovely to meet you and thank you for coming all this way :A

    Hello Wol and all.

:jReally was a super weekend. Great to meet more DFWs (hi all :hello:). Thanks so much to Wol for inviting me and for your fabulous hospitality. The party really was a credit to you Wol, what a lovely group of people you know and the house looks great. Very hard to imagine how much of a state it has been in previously.

Extra credit to Smashed for being in charge of the bbq (not to mention your delicious eaton mess), Numpty for all the hard work on the house & carpets and Z for being the perfect drinks waiter!!

Wol your millefeuille were super and I was tempted to ask for the recipe but the chances of me ever making anything so tasty are remote (especially with only half a kitchen at present!).

Lula you'll be pleased to know that you didn't miss top totty stripping after you left. He still maintained his (terrified) distance from all the gawping ladies!! :D (obviously not me, never been known to gawp :p).

    T x

Tixy Hun - I'm so pleased you had a good time. You were an absolute star in the kitchen..:T:T.thank you so much(I finally managed to wash all the tea towels yesterday as I was down to my last one - c'mon fess up - me and Auntie Smashed think you have a bit of a fetish for them :p).

..:think::think:.......although I do seem to be short of a pair of oven gloves ;)

Milles feuilles is riiculously simple - one thawed pack of puff pastry - roll into an oblong about 1-1.5cm thick, bake on an oiled tray and cool on a wire rack. Next day cut in half and fill with fruit/whipped cream and dust with icing sugar......simples!

Do you need some help putting your kitchen back together....I can recommend a certain [STRIKE]top totty[/STRIKE] builders ;);)
Obviously, living so far away - you would have to put him up for a few days :D

Lovely to see you again and hope we can meet up in the future - will let you know when I am up your way next :)
