Sheesh (inset vomiting smiley
)......judging by the rush of females to see Ginger when I went to vets this afternoon, he has clearly been "bigging it up" to the other guineas about the vet nurses :rotfl::rotfl:
Even the vet I saw today said - Oh - is THIS Ginger - I've been expecting to see him in Hello magazine :rotfl::rotfl:
Hopefully in view of the rather painful jabs they all had today..it will put them off thinking up any other shenanigans :rotfl::rotfl:
Yes.......my dear dear Grommie is back.....:T:T:T:T
Unfortunately he has lost another 100g overnight (i.e. 12.5% body weight) so is mighty thin and was very thirsty (and shagged out ....eeek...the mind boggles) when he arrived back today. Most important thing though - miraculously ......his breathing is now normal (confused smiley) and he is currently telling Muffin (who is all over him like a rash...ahhh...aint love grand?......) to pee off :rotfl::rotfl:
With hindsight (wonderful thing )......I think he might have had a brewing ear mite infection for a considerable length of time (since before Fleure went to Rainbow Bridge)..as a few things are starting to fall into place especially about Fleure grooming him around the eyes. Anyway, hopefully in a few days we will start to see a really rejuvenated (and fatter) Grommie.
As for me, well I have only just stopped since 8am this morning, having now got all piggies into clean, disinfected indoor plastic cages with food, water, greens and microwaved hay (ppphhhawwwww --- microwaved hay REALLY STINKS....insert sick smiley) inside the house (no time/weather today to start on the outside wooden ones which will in any case take 3 days to prepare:eek::eek:)
2.5% Bleach is the only thing that will kill these mites - so it's bleach, wash, dry, rinse, dry, rinse, dry ETC (x3 ).... til it's safe for piggies to go back outside.....and all remaining hay will also have to be microwaved (insert another sick smiley)
House is twice the mess it was this morning....but now I need to eat and sleep. Will start to put everything back together again tomorrow......
I am starting to think the yelllow brick road is actually the M25 on a friday ......and to hell with the ruby shoes...I just disintegrated a pair tonight while bleaching/jetwashing the indoor piggie cages on the lawn:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Nonetheless, feeling much chipper now Grommie is back with us

But surely pre-empting my thoughts, just means she thinks them before I do? And if I get into trouble for thinking those things...well..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
