thanks for the ravee invite wol, ill let you know, how is your hand doing now? xx
OMGEEE just realised what day it is today, its doomsday, this time three years ago_pale_
Yep - it's that time of year Bubbles - well spotted. In Gloucester they still call it "The day it rained forever".
Hence why I'm disappointed the builders coudn;t do their last day here today as arranged- I had a bottle of fizz in the fridge and it would have been a perfick way to end the day..house finished, letter off to solicitors for the last stage of the legal shenanigans...and a big V sign off to the last 3 years.
Ah well, we'll do it tomorros.....if they aint here tomorrow there will be words and Beechie boy will put his gnashers into action!
Hope you can make it down here - send me a PM with your meail addy and I'll send you the details
Hand is possibly needing another op but waiting to get first NHS appointment for new tens-like treatment in Chelmsford to see if this will work otherwise its surgery and no driving again. Thing is private health insurance will stump up for the op but not the tens treatment - how stupid and non-cost effective is that? - hence the delays in getting it sorted while I wait for the NHS appointments system to sort itself out
Now what's all these hints about weddings boards young lady.......must wander over and see if you have some news to share with us?;):D

Yes so I see BOB - I've been following the smutty banter on your diary today;) - "flash floods" and "flash"vegetables ........that Pepe is rather norty :rotfl::rotfl:
Funny though how these floods always seem to happen on the last day of term - cue Twighlight zone music
Anyhow i hope there's not too much damage up your way - it's a rather excessive way of cleaning the carpets and washing the windows :rotfl:

Can't believe it's been three years  The weather does seem to have followed a very similar pattern the last few years, especially in "Summer".
Congratulations Bubbles - how exciting! :TDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Hi Squiz :wave::wave:
HOw's you Hun? I am determined to draw a line under the last 3 years on the 31st..as I will have restored my home and therefore be able to get my life back on track re income etc..Unfortunately it isn;t all over yet, as the legal shenanigans will rumble on for the following year (The OMbudsman has still not reached a final decision and they have had my complaint against the insurance company for coming up to one year now )
I DO however need to keep these actions going to try and recover some of the rather consderable financial losses incurred over the last three years - which are now approaching the £90k mark _pale__pale__pale_
I ma not prepared to write that amount of money off as it represents all my savings and my inheritance which I had been planning to keep for my old age as I don;t have a pension
So I will be starting a new diary (part 4!) on August 1st (or after the hangover has subsided anyway) - and would appreciate suggestions for a new title please everyone?
I am liking The Rising (my fave Bruce Springsteen track).....as in phoenix etc but then it occurs to me that "Riverbank Rising" also has other implications of the watery variety  and might be tempting fate :rotfl::rotfl:.
So may be "Trial and Restitution" would be more appropriate :rotfl::rotfl:

That is a lot of money! Good luck with it all.
I'm good - just started a new job which is great, doing lots of housey things, and still ploughing through the debt repayments as ever.
I think your new diary title should not mention water in any shape or form! :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
