They've been bred "to rat" BOB...so I do understand their nature. And after all - a piggie is just "a rat without a tail" to a Jack Russell
It's the irresponsible ownership that concerns me.....knowing their nature, the trades should be well aware and keep their dogs under proper control where they are working if they insist on bringing them on site
How are you Hun? I sure hope MR BOB is behaving himself and your thread hasn;t disintegrated into pure smut (....well...I did happen to notice that Z was back the other day :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
Big hugs......and piggie :kisses3:

Sorry to hear about rampaging jack russells - they are horrid little dogs which is why trades probably like them because they will give you a nasty nip if your hand gets too close to anything:eek:
I may be a bit quiet next week because I am feeling rather subdued at the mo because I am worried about my parents. I went to see them yesterday for the first time since March (I know, I should see them more often) and Dad looked like a piece of string with knots in and is skinner than before (his heart and kidneys are failing - smokers beware as you too can end up like my dad) and Mum has a serious heart condition now as well (hypobaric arrythmia or something that sounds like it - where the heart beats in all sorts of wierd ways). She looked like death warmed up yesterday but she is really tired because of some stupid tablets the doc has given her which give her horrendous nightmares and keep her awake at night (apparently these are normal side effects:mad:)...so I am feeling a little bit low and scared. I am thankful that Dad is still here because back in 2006 it was touch and go and he could have dropped down dead at any time (he still could) but I think me staying away when I have been near germs has helped him survive a bit longer.
Its not all bad though as today I have booked the caterer (just need to send the food order), the venue has confirmed the booking, the magician and the variety act have been booked for the DDBC Dinner on 1st October so that is on weight off my shoulders..talking of weight I lost 2lbs last week on my first week of WW:cool:
H...I'm sorry to hear about your parents..:(..it DOES get worrying as they get older...and I Do know how they can give you "scares"....and how sometimes you suddenly realise that they're not as you have previously been picturing in your mind.....and have made a "step change" ....and it's a bummmer but "health" ...(or lack of) ...... seems to be the main factor that "changes" them
Hugs Hun - know how you feel.
Ginger is really looking forward to seeing his Auntie Horace.:D.he's given us a bit of a scare over the last few days.... but he seems to have got his weight/diet back on track in time for The Rave

Hmmm...for those you may have twigged...I'm having a bit of a bleah moment because I am struggling to write this complaint to my solicitors for onward referral to said surveyor.
It's highly personal and tbh it's like trying to recall a violation akin to rape...and having to go through millions of emails to sift out the evidence etc is really not very pleasant.
OK - let's be really honest - I'm really suffering on this and going through the emotional mill:o
I am also still a bit (understatement) phased (that's PHASED not p*ssed :rotfl:) because I won;t be able to pack off the builders until tomorrow at the earliest...and there will still need to be at least another day of work between now and The Rave..and that's AFTER Numpty has put the carpets back ..and I am sarting to realise just how much "stuff" needs to be done between now and The Rave so that everything is ready and there is food on the table
So......Bless you Boo for the chat tonight....I know it WILL all be fine......just obviously (as usual) looking for another excuse to beat myself up....(again - insert roll eyes smiley)
By the end of tomorrow I MUST have sent this letter\case report to the solicitors otherwise everything will be in vain
..and I DO need to kick the builders into touch tomorrow evening so I can finally reclaim my house (amidst a bottle of bubbly of course)
After all - 10 weeks is a long time to live cheek by jowel with your builders....even if they are your nearest thing to family....at least my family didn;t turn up at 6.30am every day expecting e to be "full on" ..or did they :rotfl::rotfl::eek:
....And I have to get piggies up to Huntingdon to see special vet this week as they need teeth (Grommie/Ginger/Bandit) /ear mites(Beechie)/eye probs(Beechie) /possible fungal infections (Maple) sorted
so I might be AWOl for a couple of days
Hmm.....good news is that my haridresser is sorting out the 3" of grey roots on wednesday

I shall be ok re my parents - I am having a silly wobble..sniff sniff.
I admit to firing off a complaint letter on Saturday because I rang the spa to book an appointment to be told by the little madam answering the phone that members priority bookings ceased the day before and I now have at least a 3 week wait for an appointment - so I fired off a letter to the new owner pointing out errors on his website and his innate inability to communicate properly with his members:mad: I dont pay that membership fee each month to be treated like a t*rd!
I am having my hair done on Thursday at a new salon as the lovely hairdresser that did my hair at Umberto Giannini's in Selfridges has moved to Lisa Shepherd so it will probably cost me an arm and a leg:eek:
Smashed looks like a nice lady and have no idea why she is a lush because anyone can see that those are two milkshakes on the table in front of her.
I shall be there at Chez Wol on Thursday next and don't mind mucking in with stuff but keep nipple nipping piggies away from mine please:eek: Ginge might have a new towel - I will have a rummage and see what I have going spare.
Good luck with the piggies at the other V E Ts and good luck with your solicitors letter.0 -
Is that a picture of you smashed?
It's a lovely picture.0
