Despite the rude awakening on the phone early this morning (well, not THAT early - about 8.30pm :o) from my builder who was outside the door trying to get in :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Today has been a GOOD day :T:T

Did good work stuff this morning :j:jand spent the rest of the day out in the garden (the bitter NE winds have stopped :T:T:T)

All hanging baskets and pots now planted, grown on, mulched and ready for placing :j:j

Sent a whiff of grapeshot to oak floorboard mill owner - hopefully now I should get my money back from the CC dispute resolution peepies ;);)

Lots of piggies have been out enjoying the new "lush"Guinea Lawn today :D:D

Ginger's wound has started to bleed again :(

Wallpaperers in today to "cross-line" (unfortunately NOT Top totty :()

Top totty electrican in today :j:j:j :drool::drool::drool:

Plus a few more other things - which are all good :D

Tomorrow is compost-bin-emptying-day (and face the rats )

Off to do guinea meds and thence to bed

Take it easy Taxi and I hope the op went well?

Wol - you can't have top totty all the time you know..you gotta put up with a few ugly pugs like the rest of us:rotfl:

I have done a fair bit today - mainly updating someone's CV - the man in GC is coming back to the UK but we are already working on a joint project to earn money:rotfl: I have emailed folks and then confirmed numbers at the breakfast venue for our breakfast tomorrow morning.

Rats are easy dealt with just bash them on the head with a shovel...then you could do what farmers in Wales do and that is nail the beggars to the fence post as a warning:eek:

Sorry to hear about Ginger - is it a cunning ploy of his to go back to the v e ts to see the nurses?

Today I have (almost) had a change of heart :o

I emptied the first compost bin this pm and later tonight the most beautiful rat could be seen nosing through the remains. She (for I'm sure it is a she - and also a "Miss")is so dainty, petite and pretty - and in really good condition - obviously a juvenile and clearly has pose and manners :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have never been drawn to rats - either wild of fancy/domesticated - but this little lady (bloke ) was so pretty and clearly something special.

Good day again today - but off to bed for sleeps now as builders are "on a roll" and turning up each day at 7.30am or earlier :eek:

Hope you managed to get a good sleep.
Builders sound like they are really getting on with their stuff which sounds like a great relief.

glad you got the 'parcel' nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more, i was worried it would be stopped because of size/weight, you know what the post office is like these days.

I'm not sure i would be as relaxed as you are about the rattiuses in the compost heap.
