Maybe you were snoring which has given you a sore throat - drink loads of water today...!!!!!! the ironing! or if you have to do it, take the ironing board outside and do the ironing there.

I was out yesterday at a kitchen place - drooling over kitchens I don't need whilst a cookery demonstration was going on, I tried a new food too..butternut squash which was yummy so now I need to get some along with a sweet potato and roast them with olive oil and pesto and maybe serve with a little basil oil. I met a nice chap there too - trouble is he has short legs and a long body and looks out of proportion - sorry but I cannot go out with someone who has shorter legs than me (not that he asked me out of course - I just saying).

I need to get my coach ticket sorted out (for the rave) but first I need to recharge all my batteries as next Sunday I am off on a photography course and I am staying overnight at the pub.

I think that rather than driving I will take the coach because I dont really fancy driving all that way - the furthest I can drive these days is Swindon and that was a pain in the oojamaflips because I got lost. I am venturing as far as Cirencester this week as I am off networking but I plan to take the rest of the day to do stuff for me seeing as I have worked until silly oclock most nights this week. I may need coach tips from Numpty.

Hope all is well - we can bash a few nails and sand a few bits of woodwork Wol so don't fret. Fancy the electrician giving himself a shock, you would think that he would know better.

I remember that recent Swindon trip, Horace, sounded horrible. Wol, living out of the lounge still must be a complete pain - I hope your throat has recovered at least, that'll be one less thing. But serious **yikes** to an electrician giving himself a shock - I wonder if he knows he's "top totty"? :) he may have been teasing you :)

Well, hope its all okay. Time is just *running* by at the mo, isn't it .......

Am I mad? I have just signed up to attend some networking in Witney on Wednesday morning which means I shall have to leave at 6am (same as for Cirencester on Thursday)

Am feeling ill today - realised this afternoon that I had hardly drunk anything all day and hadn't eaten since breakfast, had a pizza for tea and now I am feeling even more queasy than before. Its been too hot. We may have a storm tonight, the sky is darker, the wind has picked up and the hairs on the back of my neck and my arms is standing up:eek:

Bought a new camera bag, tripod and a polarising filter today - ready for my photography course on Sunday (I am staying overnight in the pub), must recharge all my batteries and sort my bag out and even my walking boots.

Hope all is well at Wol's house by the river?

Uuurgh - lurgy got me. Didn;t sleep at all last night - every time I fell asleep I immediately woke up again as my throat burned like hell. Wont go into the finer details but it was really gross and never had this happen before. :(

Builders had another "mooch" day, I had a new utility room dorr and frame fitted (Dodget and bodget borke my last one) and we (actually I) resolved several issues for Totty including a) missing bits to fix the oven in place and (b) additional furniture board as the utility floor is now 15mm lower than it was and therefore the units won;t fit back in line with the existing wall tiles

Head builder did admit today he realised it had indeed been "slipping" and has vowed that by the end of this week, the dining room floor WILL be laid, the utility and kitchen will be up and running (albeit walls to apint and slicone to do) and the wallpaper will be on the dining room wall and also up the hall/stairs and landing. So should be lots of totty in and out this week (of the house I mean :whistle::rotfl:

Next monday the floor finisher is coming in to sand and stain the floorboards and the builders should hopefully be finishing off....levaing me with two weeks to clean the house from top to bottom to get rid of all the dust and then unpack everything and put it back in its place

Actually watched my first Wimbeldon match while half dozing on the sofa - Murray really has come on since I last watched him two years ago (with my arm in plaster courtesy of Beechie boy - gosh it really was two years ago )

Hot and muggy tonight - off to bed now as really do need some sleep. Lots of paperwork to catch up on incuding writing the compalint against the surveyor - naughty Wol for leaving it so long

Back tomoz, hopefully with a clearer head
