Those blue arriss flies get everywhere Nargle. I have no idea where today has gone, got up watched animal 24/7 whilst eating toasted teacakes made in my new toaster, went to post box got bus to village, went to bank, nipped into Aldi, walked home, did a bit of networking online, had some lunch but can't tell you what else I have done so I figure that I must have fallen asleep or stepped into a timewarp:eek:

    List of jobs to do:
Do washing up and put dry washing up away
    Have a bath
    Water plants
    Go to hairdressers
Ring Dad tomorrow - its his birthday
Get bus to Bromsgrove, nearest stop is now 2.5 miles approx from parents home - need to see them as it is mum's birthday on Sunday...shall be in the doghouse.
Sunday - need to sling a few more things in my case and then Sunday night I am off to the airport - if I go at 11pm then I will be able to have a kip and be awake for check in at 6.15.

Am now feeling sick - is it nerves or excitement?

You must be counting the days to your trip to the sun, Horace (bet we have a heatwave while you're away, it often happens like that). I too did an Aldi shop today and got most of what I need for the weekend and next week's meals so am on the way to getting organised. This meal planning lark is a really good idea - it means when you do have a blue tail fly kind of day then you don't even have to think what to do for dinner, you just look at your list, defrost a hunk of whatever and get on with it. It also means no more stuff growing a fur coat in the fridge because everything (and I mean everything, get your nose out of the fridge, cat!) gets used.

A flu that doesn't just come out with it, but nags on and snipes from the sidelines?

    Nasty...

Hmmm...sounds like a similar strain to MiMUM flu Z :rotfl::rotfl:...Have to say things have been very quiet on that front recently - a couple of emails but no verbal contact (except with dad) since I put the phone down a few weeks ago.....and no further reference at all to the topic of said telephone conversation. It's like it never happened (insert confused smiley)

I sent a reply email yesterday and mentioned about the BBC programme - as I thought that would give her some newsworthy material to [STRIKE]brag about[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]practice her dismissal techniques[/STRIKE] cheer her up ;).

( If I'm honest it was also a slightly defiant "see, at least someone thinks my house is in a pretty bad state and I've had a bad time with the builders " :rotfl::rotfl:)

I've nearly finished the book now- which has been interesting (and enlightening) to read - and will PM you about it tomorrow Taxi :)

Hope you slept well - make sure you eat something today - nature's fast food is a banana, remember.

Banana is most definitely my staple food during the day - this morning i took two with me to the clients - while they tuck into coffee and biccies I wield my banana ;)
