Aww...he's sweet Numpty.......don;t think Beechie's harido would quite allow the hat to sit on his head :rotfl::rotfl:
Having chucked the fading contents of my fridge (2 slimey leeks, one mouldy onion, half a tin of toms, half a jar of pasta arabbiata paste and a dash of festering smokey barbecue piri piri) into a casserole with some sausages in it.... I have been pleasantly surprised at the result tonight..:D..didn;t even have to add in the Nargle factor
Right invoicing done :T, load of work emails done :T....but behind on one write up (should have finished that yesterday) and one assessment (needed to be done today). I'm out most of tomorrow with clients and then again in the evening with ex boss (must sharpen my hatchet) and have clients every other day this week. Roll on the weekend.
KC - I have arranged to start earlier with the client so should deffo be finished by 12.30
I'm absolutely knackered after this early morning shenanigans....and am sure I;ve picked up some horrible lurgy today from my travels.....I can;t quite remember whether I've told anyone that I hate travelling in London .
Off to bed soon, ....just got guinea meds to do ...and might just cop an extra sniff while I'm grinding up their Vit C tablets - as it seems to have kept the lurgy at bay so far
Nite all

There is a tendency for that. They grem all over the handrails, so it's best not to touch anything when in London..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Hi wol and all,
Sorry the job wasn't what you expected but I'm seriously impressed with your confidence to lay down your own t+cs.Well done0 -

Excellent - I have a supermarket shop being delivered today, courtesy of a mystery shop, so I can sit you down and feed you a cup of tea (and a dark chocolate choc ice, if you'd like)
There is a tendency for that [getting lurgies in London]. They grem all over the handrails, so it's best not to touch anything when in London...
Z is right (as usual!) when I'm in London I stay away from touching things - slightly paranoid, actuallyto the extent that if I see somebody else heading towards a door in a shop at the same time as me, I'll let them open it and try to dodge through without touching anything - especially at the moment, when my immune system is so compromised.

Good morning Wol, sounds like even if you don't get called back for a further interview you still have plenty more work lined up, so it's definitely onwards and upwards from here.
Perhaps I ought to start my own business making and selling booze-laced stocks for cooking - I could market it as "Narglestock - for that Xtra-factor in your food!"One life - your life - live it!0 -
Morning gang
I typed a reply to the thread last night but the computer went all funny and I lost it:mad:
You deserve a medal for using the tube Wol - I never go in them and can remember once having to use one and then we stopped in a tunnel outside a station and I was going frantic trying to get off and when it eventually arrived at The Oval, you have never seen anything like it - I shot off that train and too the stairs two at a time (don't do escalators), vaulted the ticket barrier (even though had a ticket) just to get out into the fresh air:eek: I have a route in and a route out that I use when I drive down there and I have an oyster card to use on the bus although I have been known to walk from Kennington to Bond Street before now:eek: As for touching things - I always carry some of that no-water handgel in my pocket.
Might well have some posh lettuce leaves by the time I come down to Forest Row - I refuse to grow dandelions in my windowboxes.:D
Well done you on thinking on your feet - we'll make a businesswoman of you yet:rotfl: Sorry the job was pants though but at least you now know that they hyped it up in the ad into something that it isnt. To get non-public sector clients you need to network - its bad business practice to rely on a handful of clients, I use 4Networking.biz as they have a great online forum (they have two - a normal business one and a get off your @rse one which is a bit more laid back). Met some great people, acquired some great services, had two non-paying clients so far but got testimonials out of them..hey that's something else you need - testimonials, a website, get yourself onto twitter and start tweeting.:D0 -
