:D:D:D...Well I quite surpassed myself yesterday :D:D:D ( i am a cunning biatch if crossed )

I was SO SO superlatively good yesterday ...and the final output was
    a) ex boss realised he had the "wrong" person in place for what was required
    b) ex boss is so so gagging to get me "on board"
    c) private meeting arranged between me and ex boss early next week - ;)
    d) Usurper seems to have faded into the background in boss's mind after digging himself a hole yesterdy :whistle::whistle::whistle::rotfl::rotfl:
    e) I kept my most important secrets to myself :T:T:T

I had to dislcose some - but only did so once I realised (and had demonstrated to ex boss ) that said usurper was so incompetent, he would;t be able to do anything useful with my know how..:T:T
Ahem peeps.....what do you mean I engineered the situation (insert confused smiley) ;););)

Another VERY difficult meeting today...and another 4 rejections today...counsellor says to not beat myself up so much about wednesday - even she would have bought a bottle of wine....cos t'would appear it was really CARP stuff....even from a normal person's point of view" :D

Impromptu chill out tonight..I am very tired and drained....tomorrow is another day..I have une bouteille...but am not going to beat myself up about this one ...and me and Numpty have had a good chinwag and set both MSE and the world to rights tonight :T;):D:cool:

As for 31st July.......We have some limited accommodation in the main house.(how limited depends upon how willing people are to bunk up in the same room :rotfl:) ..and also in the (emptied in summer) rather large (:o) Piggie Palace...and if you speak nicely to Lula and Horace they may be persuaded to share their Glastonbury tents with you ;)........and I will also try and fix a deal with the local hotels that are less than a 400m stagger away (albeit having to navigate the bridge and the stream:eek:..Hmmmm ......it will make for some good "after bash" tales I am sure :D:D)

OK 31st Juy it finally is.......Pm meif you want address/map...and George Hun...our simian friend will be contacting you ;)

  • Well done on teaching usurper and ex boss- Who's the Mommy eh? I do love a Cunning plan :)
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Good news on your cunning plan working out so very well Wol and glad to hear ex-boss has finally realised what a fool he had been to try and do this without you.

Enjoy your drink, you deserve it - nothing better on a Friday night (I was buying a virtual round earlier on the troll thread! but am settled with a nice real koppaberg now).

Blimey Taxi you were up early this morning:eek:

Wol..well done on your cunning plan..get loads of dosh from ex boss and make sure you get a deal that suits you. As for rejections..think of them as being their loss and not yours, the right position is out there:D I think that Ginger will look fab in the lime green fluffiness or it could be the egyptian cotton brown one (it still has a paper label on it so you had better remove that before they get chomping:eek:)

I am having a mental day today - got up at around 10am:eek: got dressed and have put my sweatshirt on back to front:eek: It is still back to front as I havent bothered changing:eek:

Suitcase is now open and is being slowly packed - silk skirts will go in last methinks. Had to wrestle with some posh paper to wrap wedding presents in but it won't hold the sellotape so I have chucked that posh paper out and have used cheapo stuff from the cheap shop which allows sellotape to stick:j You should have heard the swearing this morning when I noticed that the posh paper had sprung the layers of sellotape:mad:

love the piggie pictures - made me smile in the midst of the mire that is the housework mountain of the living room. I've made some progress but it's not really showing in the house which drives me nuts. Trying to put something on freegle or whatever they want to call themselves, but it's taking ages to get through the moderator and i want the stuff gone by the end of tomorrow - it's a double bed so seriously impacting on the tidiness campaign grrrrr.
on a MSE front i have finally reached the £30k paid off stage, and am a hairs breath from paying off one of my consolidation loans (16 mths early yay!)

sorry about the me me me stuff, well done for getting ex boss to see the light - i'm never good at such stuff as i can't play politics and just say stuff as it is. I really must practice the scheming stuff and being able to keep my face showing the same story as what i'm trying to spin (does that actually make any sense?)

    Hi Horace

That is so kind of you........Thank you very very much ......:A:A

As you can see, your package arrived today and has been very well received......Beechie felt the green one was perhaps better for the younger generation (although Gormmie clearly didn;t think so) ....and has opted for the brown one :D....I'm not sure he wants to share and seems to be settling in with the Tv remote for the rest of the day :rotfl:

    BeechieandUncle.jpg

So I read your card out to them all.......unfortunately Beechie tried to eat it .....but Ginger clearly paid attention to what you said and was very pleased to hear you had managed to find long lost Uncle Fez.

Glad to hear you are sorting out the packing - I used to wrap silk shirts in tissue paper as stopped them getting too creased. Pah and pants to posh paper...it's the gift that counts. (I used to wrap presents in aluminium foil - no need to selotape as you just scrunched the ends - OK, so it looked like a roast dinner ready for the oven......but at least the foil could usefully be put towards something else afterwards like guide dogs for the blind :rotfl:)

When exactly are you flying out? I am very jealous that you are going to be somewhere nice and warm shortly and away from all this horrible weather.

    xxxxx

PS might be a good idea to put your sweatshirt on the right way round if you are planning to go out later
