love the piggie pictures - made me smile in the midst of the mire that is the housework mountain of the living room. I've made some progress but it's not really showing in the house which drives me nuts. Trying to put something on freegle or whatever they want to call themselves, but it's taking ages to get through the moderator and i want the stuff gone by the end of tomorrow - it's a double bed so seriously impacting on the tidiness campaign grrrrr.
on a MSE front i have finally reached the £30k paid off stage, and am a hairs breath from paying off one of my consolidation loans (16 mths early yay!)

sorry about the me me me stuff, well done for getting ex boss to see the light - i'm never good at such stuff as i can't play politics and just say stuff as it is. I really must practice the scheming stuff and being able to keep my face showing the same story as what i'm trying to spin (does that actually make any sense?)

Wow LT - 30k knocked off the debt that is a fantastic achievement :T:T
and paying off the loan 16months early :T:T....another massive achievement. ....you rock girly :j:j

Freegle can be difficult at times - and it depends upon how active the mods are and at what times during the day - my local mod sometimes releases a whole load of posts late at night that arrive interspersed with the MSE subsrcibed threads notifications....hopefully you should get some replies later and the bed will be gone by tomorrow evening as hoped (have you a new one to replace it....and if so has it arrived yet?)

To be honest I'm carp at the politics thing within the work place....far too [STRIKE]outspoken[/STRIKE] honest and hate playing games........ and tend to hide under the duvet when that goes on. However in a sales situation I feel pretty comfortable about "neutralising the competition"

.........so the other day, after finishing sorting out their business strategy, I casually directed the conversation towards discussing the usefulness or otherwise of business advisers appointed to give companies like my client free support....and whether these programmes would continue after the general election or whetr there would be a lot mor advisers competing for the business...and the challenges faced by self-employed people like myself working with companies on these programmes in terms of potentially handing over my know how to future competitors.... and how I had to be careful....not, I said, that this was the case with the current client of course.......:whistle:

Hopefully some of it sunk in......ex boss confirmed yesterday it will be just me and him on tuesday

Right must go as I too must do some housework as I am out at the gig tonight and will need to leave at 5pm.....wow can;t remember the last time I was out on saturday night - must have been the last DFW meet

Hopefully I will have finished with the client by 12.30..although sometimes they take longer ....the one on thursday took 3 hours ..but the previous two clients took 4 hours each :eek::eek:- However I'll only be a few minutes drive away from you, and with this particular client I can arrange a second meeting to continue the discussions...... so we should have enough time to get there and back if you decide you want to go somewhere :D

Will send you a text when I finish with the client

Hello Wol, glad to hear you are ploughing on with things. Remember your ex-boss is not your ex-boss, he is a customer, and if he does not want to pay the going rate for your services then he can go forth and multiply. You are not a charity, you have a living to make and bills to pay. And a menagerie of guinea pigs to feed and water.

Now about that leftover wine - get thee to the naughty step, Wol, and write five hundred times - "I must freeze my leftover wine in ice cube trays to use when I cook gourmet suppers instead of shoving it down my neck."
One life - your life - live it!

You do have her in hand, don't you, Nargle! Excellent stuff - and I missed the bit about the ex boss really being a paying customer  good spot.
