Wol's Riverbank tales: Part 3 Restoration

Sorry to hear about your friend Wol - I dont think that I can add anything because Z said it all really.
I need to get some brown paper from the shop so that I can package the towels to send to Ginge & Co.:D I havent forgotten, I have been doing other things like sorting out the travel agent and Thomas Cook and his sneaky £2 charity donation which I have eventually managed to get refunded:mad: Flippin' cheek I like to donate to my favourite charities and not be told that I am making a donation.
May well have some audio typing work which is money for old rope but it will at least keep me afloat. Plan this week is to go to a breakfast meeting on Wednesday (2 bus trips) as there is someone I want to see and I want him to come and see me to discuss finances. Unfortunately for me I have a bit of money in a savings account but I can easily touch it and it is starting to be frittered away:eek: so I need to put it somewhere where I can't access it. Need to spend time today working out why my business email no longer works properly - it was ok yesterday but today is pants.
Decided this morning that I will package up some of the trains that I acquired in the auction and send them to a dressmaker in Bradford (she is on MSE) to see if she can make use of them...it may be a freebie but could get a lot of good will. Need also to look at the new auction site that I found that has free listings and then I can photograph other bridal bits and stick them on there.
As for parents being as they are - mine are the same, had a chat with mother on phone yesterday and she rudely reminded me that I made the decision to get married at aged 25 to someone who had extremely old parents and it was to be expected that everything that he did was a case of mind my own flippin business (words that he uttered every single day)...in other words you made your bed so jolly well lie in it. I have never produced kids either - it sounds harsh but I didnt want any because I didnt want her controlling them like she has controlled me (insert banned rolleyes smilie). It must be driving her nuts that I am now keeping my distance:rotfl:
Things will come right for you hun - I just know it...so go and get your hair done chuck and get that new job.0 -
I am naughty - through and through.

Good evening Wol, sounds like you have a full schedule ahead of you. I am sure no-one will mind if you don't post individual replies to every single post you've received, a general update and thank you post would suffice if you are busy. I think, with the right frame of mind, you can and will achieve loads this year. Do remember to have fun on the way, though! One life - your life - live it!0

Very true, Nargle - Wol, you're so meticulous about replying to everyone who's posted, and you don't need to be, "thanks all" suffices, honestly.
EDIT - just as I'm learning that I don't need to post a marathon every time I post!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning hun, thats a fair few 'to do's' planned for Feb! Happy New Year by the way, forget January this year only has 11 months in it!

Good morning Wol, hope all is ok. Where the hell did January go to? Probably missed it due to being snowed in half the month. One life - your life - live it!0

Or maybe it's an EU plot to metricate us in every way - get rid of a month this year and another next year and hey presto! A metric year - only ten months long! One life - your life - live it!0
