Fleure & Grommie look really happy together - I am glad that the pair of them are on the mend..I can imagine Fleure had a good old moan at Grommie to getting into a mess:rolleyes:

Am pleased with the new vets too - they seem much nicer than the old crowd and certainly more understanding of piggies.

Try and have an early night tonight Wol..may a slurp or two of pink elephant juice would be nice too.:D

Yes...she did give him a bit of a ticking off and a nip on the nose :rotfl::rotfl:

These vets are brilliant :T:T- just like my GP - they might not be what you would call "piggie specialists" (there's very few in the UK) but they are open to ideas/dialogue and treat you with respect as a concerned customer..... instead of as a sausage going through a machine..

.....and I've been told there will be no charge for the second visit last night :T:T

.....so I think I might follow your suggestion Horace and get myself a small bouteille of something when I pick the piggies up.......

.:eek:...and before Z wags his finger at me :o;)........small as in 250cl (not the full size) as I am still on a mission with the units consumption...and have to say how much better/more active I've felt since I've cut down....:D

Have you had any more thoughts about events management?

I missed so much this afternoon! Those photos are lovely, Wol, thank you so much for posting the series - now I'm wondering if you have a video function on your camera, and you could post stuff up on you tube!

Anyway, nice to see things are going well right at this mo - hope you get a good sleep. I dragged a 2 euro bottle of wine out of the cupboard last night - I think I might manage to open it right now!

As for Z wagging his finger at you - let him wag..there are times when a small bottle of pink elephant juice is needed and this is one of them - any leftovers can be sploshed in stew (very MSE).

I have had a lot more thoughts about event management - I have a feeling that that side of the business will take off more than the weddings. I visited a nice hotel today (Studley Castle) that used to belong to the Rover Group as they used it as a conference/training venue - now a Best Western hotel. I met their events manager at a chamber event women who.. well, I have been asked to put together a proposal regarding wedding fairs - they like having them but cannot be bothered to organise them, now I want to organise them so I am having to put forward a proposal as to what I can do for the hotel and what they can do for me - ideally I want them to pay for the advertising and showcase their hotel whilst I source the exhibitors and the exhibitors pay me (if the hotel want to hire me a room then so be it).

I also visited a superb venue at a farm - its an old granary storage barn with new build attached but the new build is a copy of a worcestershire half timbered barn and it has been made with green oak from herefordshire, has underfloor heating, its own water from a bore hole (they will soon be bottling it for weddings), a bose sound/light system and everything has been done to an extremely high spec - its an exclusive use venue £4500, they have outdoor games, and can even hire you a vintage rolls royce. I was more than well impressed:D It is still being worked on but when it is finished it will also be hired out as a conference venue.

Tomorrow is a professional development day with Brad Sugars (he set up Action Coach and is my facebook friend), then I am meeting with my accountant because it is close to self assessment submission time. Thursday - I am off to Snow Business - I want to be an approved supplier of all things fake snow.

Grommie has a windy tummy :rotfl::rotfl: (actually if it were caused by an obstruction, as thought yesterday, ..it would be serious....but new X rays today show no obstruction...just the "teeth" issue...which he has to have done every approx 6 monhs anyway :D:D..and no stones/tumours/anything un-toward :T:T:T:T)

    So Yippppeee :j:j:T:T

He's still groggy from anaesthetic...but Fleure is now sorting him out . She, by the way, aint eating unless force fed..,.._pale__pale_..but early days ...so Wol is still on one hour obs/feeds....but will be safe enough for them to be left to fend for themselves tonight for a few hours

    Phew :D

I fel SO much better....just need a few hours kip now....;)

This sounds like really good news, Wol! I'm very pleased for you. But listen: you *have* to eat! And you have to sleep too - well, sounds like you're going to do that one.

I was thinking of you last night - I opened a bottle of wine! Actually opened it and drank it - for something that cost all of two euros, it was quite nice, I was astonished :) off to get another glass from it now.......... hope you *can* sleep tonight.
