Glad to hear the piggies are recovering, albeit slowly.:o
Also relieved to hear the UFO was bolognese, you know the way my brain works- i did think piggie poo for one teensy, weensy moment:eek::D:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Bob! Thats rude! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Gave me a good laugh tho, and Wol too I bet.
Wol, the level of stress you're under is horrible - I wish I had something funny to say like bob :kisses3: but have some chocolate instead - on Bob's thread, they're just mentioning tangerines with chocolate spread...... :xmassmile2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Hi All
It's carp at the moment..still losing sleep over guineas (Beech and Grommie now have respiratory infections), consultant says neuroma in my hand needs surgery (4 weeks not driving/in splint)...and also following hand bashing, it dropped a cup of coffee on my computer and I have lost all my data - everything work and personal related - late tuesday night.(special thanks to Z for talking me through how to remove hard drive until 1am in the morning and for previously putting a back up system in place for me on another computer - might be able to salvage something) ..terrible client meeting in Basingstoke the next day (was up at 4,30am to do guinea meds and get there for 9am )......delivered hard drive to recovery people this evening - there is a logic problem and even though hard disc is not damaged by coffee, it can;t be read.
Dashed into PC world and forked out for little notebook (Cheapest one), reinstalled Office so at least up and running on internet and have email back.
I have to go to ireland and give workshops next week, can't cancel it and can;t find anyone to look after guineas and give meds while I am away...and have lost all the presentations I had prepared
I HATE OCTOBERS.....:wall::wall:..I am trying hard not to panic...and the stress levels atm are pretty damn bad...
Not going to post anymore until I have some good news
Hugs to all

Same for me as for Lemon Tree, Wol, I'm so sorry its this bad - I *am* in spitting distance, if I had a car
I feel bad about that. When are you going to Ireland, what days?
EDIT - I've just thought - one of my cats had diabetes for almost a year before she passed on ....... and whenever I went away, I paid one of the nurses at the vet practice I used to come and give her her injections, instead of the ordinary catsitting service I'd used previously. From the sound of things right now, you'd want somebody to stay overnight, but maybe thats negotiable too.
Lots of hugs.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
