    Hi Taxi

Great to hear about the car!

How do you feel about the anti-depressants? It can be a bit of a surprise to have it prescribed.

I'm still focusing on looking after me - have been suffering really badly with a nasty cough. It sounds like you also needs some TLC. Fancy joining me?;)

Thanks all...DH went to work last night but I'm not going until tomorrow.
I don't feel very good.Probably a mixture of stuff over the last few days.
I'm very tired!!!...feela bit nervy but don't know whether that is the drop down in the patches as I am on the lowest ones now.I started those yesterday.I also started those anti ds yesterday...apparently they can make you feel sick...
I had sore throat and ears yesterday but that has gone today..so I may be coming down with something. My bones are still aching.I just feel strange.
    I don't know about the anti ds...am I depressed I don't know...peed off yes..but don't know if I'm depressed..didn't think so.

It could be a moxture of all the stress coming out, and the low patches and the anti dsep, sounds daft but if I've had a rant, hold in it, come across a sensible person kicking off, but when I get gome I'm shalking, in tears, it could be thst.

Another thought re Anti deps, sometimes they have a dual purpose, that primarily they are an anti depressant, but maybe trial and error, not sure, they usually have a 2nd use, one of my tablets that prescribed for my back is also described for depression.

It could be that with everyone going on and if your hitting the menopause, that they thought get the anti deps in now to smooth the rise out,

I wouldn't say your depressed (a great lady), but who takes the world on her shoulders and maybe to the doc that doesn't come across as a woman that can multi-task and juggle the balls at the same time, but someone else with the same circumstances may be running round like a headless chic, so they gave the prescription.

How long have they given you the initial prescription for, as there expect you to go back b4 it runs out, so that may be the time to say WHY??? and then at least you can say look I tried it yopur way.

    You take care xx

Thanks...don't think I'll be continiuing taking them as am really exhausted on them.He mentioned they are good for the hot sweats and that I'd have more energy...I went to the DRs originally because I was tired and kept being really hot.Think I may just press on with out the tablets.I feel like a zombie.
  • What a week Taxi. Glad you are good at kicking off, honestly you would think that they learn where MRS T is concerned. Re the achiness, it does sound like a virus.Easily picked up when you are already run down. Hope you feel better soon.x

    Hi Taxi

How are you today? Hope you are getting some rest to deal with the tiredness. Bob is right - there are some really nasty viruses out there that can just wipe you out.

    Take care of you.

Hey taxi how's trix ? Been thinking about u
  • Hi taxi I have been away for a couple of days taking OS to Uni so been catching up glad you have the car back - but sorry that you are having a rough time - you have such a lot of different things going on it is hard to now what is causing what - just try and listen to your body and go with your instincts. Glad you didn't revert to the ciggies that is an important step realising you can cope with all this without them - I think the profiteroles were justified!

    Take care of yourself.

Hi all..thanks for the concern.I've been sleeping quite a bit. After a lot of humming and haaing I've decided to carry on with the tablets for now.
Perhaps I am a little depressed/stressed.I really don't know?..I felt quite shaky before taking the tablet..like nervy..IYSWIM...felt nervy quite often over the last few weeks.I have had an I can't be bothered attitude but that has gone on for a long time and I just thought I was being lazy...
It wouldn't be so bad if the tablets don't make me feel so tired!!!..I haven't been to work yet as I'm so tired.I need to go to work to pay the bills ..vicious circle....will try for another week or so and see how I get on.

Hope the outcome of the complaint it favourable - it's bad news that it takes shouting to get things done - makes me sooo mad!!

I'm sure there is a throat virus going round. I've been doing the work home bed thing for the last few days and spent yesterday and today doing ..... not a lot!! Slept from 8 last night till 9 this morning - just feel out of sorts, not poorly as such - and very tired but with really sore throat but not lost my voice or anything - must be some virus.

I went for a smear last week and nurse recommended I see doc for hormone tests and menopause chat - oh joy!!!!!! I'd asked for an appointment either before or after work - 'is 7 ok?' nurse asks 'great me thinks - home tea on and docs' - turns out to be 7AM - will need a siesta on Thursday to get over it - didn't know the doctors opened so early!!!!!!!!!

Hope the anti dees are beginning to kick in - be careful driving that taxi if you feel fuzzy with them.

    Take care
