Thank goodness about the car! Sorry to hear there was no simple answer to the health issues. Hope the antidepressants help.

    Thanks you two.
They delivered the car back to me and I got straight in it and went down to the garage to sort out my complaint. They took me in a side room as I don't think they wanted others to hear me.
The manager totally agrees with me and wants me to put it all in writing so that they can give it the rep to see if they can get me some compensation.Their rep is in next week so they will be taking it up with him.
Their customer don't care line is also in trouble as he had the same bad attitude that I got and he's going to complain about that.
So I need to put it in writing this week.I already told him that they don't give a !!!!!!!!!!!
Turns out though after all the threats the part came from head office...(there is a theory that they have secret stash there for customers that really kick off)....as suppliers stopped supplying parts to Vauxhall when they were going bust there aren't many parts in the country at the moment but they are starting to filter through since they've been bought.

Unfortunately El as I don't have £16 k ish sat about to buy another so will have to put up with it for now.
Because it's under warranty it has to be done with Vauxhall parts at a vauxhall dealership. If it didn't have the warranty on it then I could've had another make of alternator fitted...they say bat the dealership that they are starting to see parts filter in to be fair that dealership has looked after me for 8 years and have always bent over backwards.
It's Vauxhalls attitude that stinks and unfortunately this is what will lose them my business.
How they deal with my complaint will accomplish the outcome.
