So sorry that you have been having such a bad time - at least it has meant you have already started your exercise regime even if it was not in the best way. Best wishes for tomorrow Iam sure they willfind something to suit you.
A warm relaxing bath is definitely the way to go.
You are doing great on the PADS.

Thanks you two.
Hypno, a Zafira is what we had last time and the only things wrong with that was normal wear and tear items which I'm perfectly alright with.We got rid as it was 7 years old and you can only have a taxi up to 8 years old on our firm.
DT ..that was more than enough exercise for me...lol0 -
I have a zafira and we have had a few problems as you probably know from my thread. Hope it gets sorted ASAP.

Hi Taxi
So sorry to hear about the car - it's worrying when it's your livelihood.
Well done on the debt payments and I hope the gym visit goes well tomorrow. It might be worth taking trainers and jogging bottoms as they may just show you how to get started on some of the machines.
When I last went to the gym, my first session was just setting a short realistic routine with a few goals to aim for.
Good luck

Sorry about the problems with the car, how unbelievable not to have a letter box, like you say, your not working, and the cars your livelyhood, glad its under warrenty, that would be one too many kick in the teeth.
Good luck with the prescription to excerise, are you going to a gym to do it?
I did have a trial at prescription to exercise (6 yrs ago), I had to pay the price of a double prescription, (times may have changed), my initial assesment was the usual, weight, height, what are you here for, what do you want to achieve, and I recall haveing to use an exercise bike, that was to get pulse, breathing, exercise level. I had 2 gym sessions then a review bit like the 1st, to see if there had been any difference. Hardly in 2 sessions!
I'd say go in pr comfy bottoms and trainers, then if you have to do any exercise your prepared.
Hope you get the car back soon.xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thanks all..just a quick one as am going to DRs in a minute.I should get the car back today.
I really don't know anything about the exercise on prescription but am hoping it's just a chat today as am in pain.
Just done my PADS and have paid £20 to Virgin and £10 to EGG.
Hope you all have a good day x0 -
I am totally !!!!ed off today!!!!
Let's go through the day.
Went to Drs first thing and had bloods done and booked appointment with Dr for 2 days time as he requested....GOOD.
Got a phone call at 9am to see that the woman that was meant to see me for the exercise on prescription couldn't as she's off sick or whatever and will re schedule when she gets back....BAD
Went to town and bought tracky bottoms,t shirt and hooded top ready for the gym from Evans..can only shop there as I'm a very large size ..spent £95 (cash)....BAD
Went to the hairdressers that was advertising at £21.50 ..and had my hair cut and coloured....for £21.50 ..whilst I was there the whole street had a power cut but luckily it came back on just in time for her to blow dry my hair...GOOD I THINK.
Hadn't heard from Vauxhall about the car.So phoned them and was told somebody would phone me back in 5 mins..I ended up calling them back an hour later when I got to speak to a manager who said they hadn't been able to source the part!!!!...can you believe it??????....I had one almighty argument with them and pointed out that a car that doesn't go and for which they don't seem to be able to get a part for is of !!!! all use to me!!!!..and that they had better find an alternator for it pretty damn quick or else I'll be returning the car back to them as not fit for purpose and that I'm also going to phone trading standards...he promised to phone me back in 10 mins or so!!!
I was straight on the phone to trading standards and was given some very useful advice and also found out that the HP company is equally liable!!!...Just as I was finishing with Trading Standards..Vauxhall phoned me back.
They have located a part in Manchester and IF it's the right one when it comes(hopefully) tomorrow they will fit it but can't make any promises.....
What the !!!! has happened to this company...
Alternators were on back order with Vauxhall itself..so who knows when they would get one and they were expecting me to wait..it was only when I pushed that they have gone outside of the company looking!!!!
I am really upset at Vauxhall and will never ever buy another car from them.I have had 4 cars from them in 8 years 3 of those brand new and used to always have excellent service...
The fact that until I went mental they were not even trying outside of the vauxhall group to get the part has horrified me as they should've known to get one from wherever they could as it's my livelyhood.I would've been quicker going to a outside garage rather than the dealership....0 -
Hugs Taxi. Hope vauxhall get their fingers out. I think you should demand something off the bill due to their incompetance (sp). Is there nobody else who can help with the exercise programme?

I'm so glad my mortgage overpayments will be sat about in savings accounts building up and useable at any time as if this car is going to be problematic then I will maybe have a choice to cut our losses and buy something else for cash.I can't rely on a loan as you never know when one would be available.
What annoyed me even more was the garage told me to phone up vauxhall customer services and speak to them ..they said they would phone me back after speaking to the garage..yes..that's right they didn't.0 -
Lucielle..there's nothing to demand of the bill as it is a warranty repair..The cars only done 39000 miles.0
