I've started the PAD too - only £1 each day, on the basis that it will be the minimum I pay.....and if I pay any more, its a bonus.......all going in a savings account towards paying off my 0% virgin card when the 0% runs out in June.......

Evening all...hope you've all had a good day.
Been lovely weather here ..hence no good for business!!!!....so gave in and went grocery shopping this afternoon....came to £65 but got loads of reduced fish...and quite a bit of meat(not reduced)...soap powder etc so shouldn't need much else for the rest of the month.
£20 PAD made to Virgin today...
Nothing else going on here...car is making a squeaking noise so will pop into garage tomorrow after early morning rush and get it looked at...hopefully it's something under warranty.
DH fancies going out of town somewhere on our day off..if we do that then the accounts won't be done tuesday.
Think I may have to do them at nights instead as I really do need to do them.
  • ok I'm dull...whats PAD? Payment a day perhaps? As for the deragatory wine comment bob...huh...chai tea wne is cheap and yummy!! Just psyphoned off to dj's and will do another batch of chai next but will try and get tea from indian s-market...
    hugs for you taxi!

After all the traffic on motorway yesterday we decided to give centre of Blackpool a miss and headed to Fleetwood instead - had nose around market then people-watched on beach and dh watched boat from Ireland dock. Went part way up lighthouse which was open for some heritage day. So it was a good afternoon in the sunshine. Headed to Cleveleys Kitchen for tea - yummy homemade pies chips and fish between us - shares cos we couldn't decide what we wanted  then parked up at Bispbam and walked along tableaux lights before heading home and we didn't even get caught up in any traffic :T - was thinking about you with every taxi I saw :D

Hope you are looking after yourself and doc finds out what the problem is.
Those payments a day are making a difference - wish I had a pot lurking somewhere - glad its paid off a card though.

Am a bit peed off today as well as knackered and aching!!!
The car didn't last out last night and decided to start making banging noises and had a smell of burning!!!...now even I know that's bad.
So DH brought the car home and I listened to it.I then thought we should take it to the dealership at that time and put keys and a note through the door.I didn't fancy taking it first thing this morning as the rush hour traffic is really bad in that area as it's right next to the motorway.
So off we go on our way to the dealership and boy did I keep my fingers crossed that we made it and we did...yipppee!!!....I then duly wrote a note, found a money bag in the car to put it in..locked the car and then put the keys in the money bag ready to post and really thankful that we hadn't had to pay for a breakdown truck.

BUT GUESS WHAT?.....the dealership doesn't have a letter box!!!!!..how stupid is that?

So we walked home about 4 miles with the keys.....didn't get a cab as was being MSE and my back and knee were sore by the time we got back.
So today I had to get up really early get a bus at 7.30am to tesco..which is the nearest bus stop and then it took me 30 mins to walk from tesco to the garage..just so I could give the keys in...
I hung around a while and they say the alternator pulley has gone..they didn't have one in stock either...so hopefully they will get it fixed tomorrow.
So we lost last nights money, today day and night money, tomorrow day money and we have to pay to have our all night covered tonight...the car will be fixed under warranty though!!...
I'm not buying Vauxhall again as I'm disappointed with this car..it's had 2 brake calipers replaced and now this ...all in 40000 miles.

I got Vauxhall to drp me off at the bank. Then I walked to the office as I needed to drop £10 off to get the all night covered and then walked up to an hairdressers in that area but it was shut...walked to another but they couldn't fit me in until much later today ..so declined because I couldn't be arsed walking that far again...then I walked home again and have collapsed on the sofa.
The GYM people phoned whilst I was at the garage and I have an appointment for 4pm tomorrow..this is the exercise on prescription thingymyjig.
Only paid a PAD of £10 to Virgin today as don't know what spare money we'll have as it's coming to the time of month that all the loans and bills come out.
