  • You've done some good work today Taxi

Glad the doctors are getting all the necessary done. You have done so well with the stop smoking and some free exercise will be good too you will not only be debt free but healthier as well.:j

Boo to virgin but at least you are dealing with it so they have not got you over a barrel.

Yep Virgin were having a laugh putting it up to 24.9% from October.I do like this new opt out thing the government decided they all had to offer though. That way most customers won't end up paying the extortionate rates that they are trying to put people on.
I was looking the exercise up on the internet and what little bit I found about it looks like I will pay a reduced rate but the nurse said some stuff had a charge while some didn't so will see anyway.
Had a walk to Lidl tonight with DS and then popped to his house and showed him out to cook a chicken and jacket potatoes..he only lives up the street. So haven't been back long.
Heard tonight that one of the cabs drivers died last night while on holiday.I don't think he was very old either...I really feel for his poor partner and children.Life can be so short!!

so what happens with the opt out clause? do they freeze your card so you can no longer spend on it, or does it just continue as before but without the higher interest rate? You can tell my card gets paid off monthly can't you, and i'm resisting all other cards.

Yes they freeze the card at the old rate until it's paid off.

Just updated my sig as the virgin bill is available on line...so that is right with interest IYSWIM...
Today I have paid £100 overpayment to DHS MBNA card..but can't update that until the interest is added.
I've also sent £84.99 to VIrgin as well as PAD....
So my total outstanding is actually less that it says as I don't update it until I get vstatements if they have interest.
