not going to bad fingers crossed. Told that i made some good changes right at the very start and that i'm only borderline diabetic so i can make some easy changes which will help it getting any worse. wish chocolate would stop calling to me to be honest though

That's the good thing about late onset diabetes(if there is a good thing) that you can usualy prevent it from becoming full blown.

to be honest it wasn't high to start with, just above the cut of level for being diabetic. I have been told i don't have to check it, just have to go every quarter (i think ) for blood tests. I find it hard to ignore the talk from chocolate as i don't see instantly how what i eat makes a difference, i'm a numbers person so would prefer to test daily so i can see i'm doing everything right

the one thing everything i've read says is don't eat diabetic food, it's over priced and can often give you upset tummy's. I'm just going to have to eek out my allotment of chocolate.
what gets me is that if i was a drinker i'd be allowed 2 units a day so why can't i have 2 units of chocolate each day?????? sob!!!!!

So where do I start today?...MMM
Went to work it was quiet...so boo to that
Got a phone call from DRs...my blood results are back already and I have raised ESR..which means inflammation in my body apparently so would probably be the arthritis.I have to have another blood test next week(tues) to check for ESR and CRP(that's also inflammatory and recently heart)..then see Dr two days later....so boo to that.
Came home to letter from Virgin wanting to put the interest up to 24.9%..so I've phoned them and opted out which keeps the interest it's at now valid...they were a priority for me to clear anyway!!..so boo to them.

Then went to Drs again to see the nurse to get my patches ...so now have 4 weeks of the lowest strength ones...he said I can have more after that if I want them.I also asked him about exercise on prescription and he's done the form and faxed it off to wherever...so that should be some free exercise apparently it's a 20 week course but I really don't know anything about it yet..so that's good stuff.
Made my PAD to Virgin £10.
Checked all banking etc..I do have some money in the bank but need to keep some back towards the end of month bills because I don't want to go in the overdraft.

Forgot to add also put £20 in my Egg account.
