Hi taxi, sorry to hear your news. At this stage, with your nodes clear, it is likely that they have caught this early - and the results show the potential of the cancer not what it has already done. You do have a long road in terms of the treatment, but this is to make sure that they kill each and every of the little blighters - total belt and braces to make sure that they stay away for good. I know you are disappointed at the type, but you are such a fighter and you will see tis through.

Nothing has really changed - it's still one day at a time and no 'what ifs'. I genuinely wasn't interested in the facts and figures - the way I see it, I'm not a statistic until it's all over one way or another and there's alot that can happen along the way! I know it's a knockback and it's hard that you're still waiting for a plan to focus on but it will happen soon. Sending you lots of strength-bearing vibes! Lenza xx

Thanks all...you are right it was like day 1 but 100 times worse.

Am feeling a lot better now I'm over the shock.

Good job I spoke to BCN as there is a long waiting list for the oncologist as one of them is off for another month at least and my referral was stuck in a massive pile...all credit to the BCN DOING HER JOB AS the oncologists secretary phoned me this morning to offer me an appointment for 23rd July at 10.30am...so I will have my treatment plan before I go away at end of month.

Have been and had a tyre changed today and had the 2 new wheel trims put on...so now only have the steam clean and valet to go on monday before it goes over pits on tues am.

Still not brought my accounts up to date yet but plan to do that in the next couple of days....I've had enough excitement for the last few days...lol
Am back to feeling positive today....but am knackered

Shred dvd came today...lol...think that will be lying about for a while yet..lol

Brilliant news about the appointment Taxi, once you have a plan you can refocus your efforts. You are doing everything you can, changing your eating etc will improve your overall health and that is as much as you can do at the moment. Try and rest as much as you can, the chemo will be a challenge and you may get extremely tired, to try and be as ahead of the game as you can be.

We are all thinking of you - nothing beats the MSE team! Lilo

Hi Taxi, I'm so glad you've got your appointment now ...you absolutely need to leave it in its wrapper! You need a bit more resting time, it sounds like, and a bit more simple pleasure rather than doing *that* :eek:

Taxi so sorry to hear the latest results but you will beat this and they will make sure that you have all the necessary treatments so you won't have to fight your corner for them. I am glad you have got your appointment before you go away.
