I'm sorry you didn't get the results you were expecting, Taxi, but please just look at it as the road being made a bit longer, and the destination being the same.

You are still going to knock this cancer on the head, even though it might take a bit more effort to do so. :)

If you aren't already in bed, go and get some sleep. x

Sorry the news is not what you had hoped Taxi :(

We will need to send more of our MSE positivity to give this blighter the heave-ho.

My sister was an oncology nurse in the US, but she's also big on the holistic/wellness approach. I'll see if she can offer anything. Be positive - you can still beat this xxxxx

Oh Taxi, I'm so sorry to hear this. I really wasn't expecting for you to have any bad news, not after the scan on the nodes was clear. I like what Pickle said at the top of the page - the destination is the same, the road's just longer, thats all. But of course its distressing news.... sending you lots of hugs, and lots of positivity for when you can walk on that road again. Let us know about the phone call you're going to make this morning.

As others have said, taxi, I am sorry that the news was not as you had hoped, and I am not surprised it has knocked you for six, so just take today as it comes, whether you can be bothered to do anything or not, just let today happen - anger, frustration, sadness, disbelief, etc etc etc may all make an appearance, but it is just the process that you have to go through, and it will pass.

As for the treatment - well, all is still positive there. You are on the radar now, whereas 3 months ago you weren't. Treatment will come your way - ok it is frustrating that people are on holiday and appointments aren't yet booked, but it will be happening in the background, and that treatment will do what it needs to do.

As for "higher recurrance rates" - you cross those bridges if and when you come to them. We can spend our whole lives saying "what if" or we can live for today and prepare for tomorrow......and I know which one you will be doing xx

Taxi, I am not surprised you cant be bothered. It must be like Day 1 all over again and that just seems so cruel. Sadly the only way to deal with the shock is to, once again, roll with it.

You are strong, very strong and you will beat this for sure.

    Today just love yourself

As always, you are in my prayers!

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!
