I've come to the conclusion that I always need something to plan..nver realised that before..lol
That is what I found too - once you have control, you can deal with things easier (I hadnt noticed what a control freak I was until that point)

We may go to Scotland and have fancied edinburgh but aren't the hotels very expensive there?

Come to Scotland. Edinburgh can be expensive, but less so out of season or midweek. Last minute.com secret hotels are usually good deals. But head north too for the scenery and the relaxation.x x x0
