Not a lot planned for today...need to do banking and that's about it and some bits of paperwork.,maybe a bit of washing.

Checked bank this morning but no sign of insurance payment just yet.

DO BACS GO IN MORE THAN ONCE A DAY?

I think they only go in once but it will show depending on what time your bank updates the records. Based on 1st July I would have expected today or tomorrow.

Went to bed last night feeling very tearful (keeps happening lately and am dealing with it) but got up this morning and caught up on here and you can't help but smile, some lovely posts, thoughts and plans, so hopefully that will get me going and through the day. x

I've just looked at that hotel .... and did a pretend booking so I could see the prices.... :eek: okay, I want to be rich enough so that I can stay there :cool:

Taxi as far as I know BACS is an overnight thing and it doesn't work on Mondays (I guess because noone works in the bank on a Sunday) and it does just normally go overnight so maybe they will process today for tomorrow morning.

Thats how we get paid and it always in our account in the middle of the night!

Taxi - If you want any help with whats where/what to see in Edinburgh at some point let me know... thats where I am! And yes it has hills but it has a good bus system (when they are not digging up roads for the stupid new tram line :mad:) so you can jump on and off the bus to most places if you don't feel like walking too far.

OMG...I am so devastated for DT ....nobody deserves that !!!!!! and now I can't find her phone number...ahhhhh....
DT is a wonderful caring woman and was there in my time of need and now I can't find the number to be there for her....
What an absolutely devastating thing to lose a grandchild..my heart goes out to her and her family....can't even begin to imagine the pain she is going through.
Please everyone say a prayer or light a candle for baby Cherry and her devastated family....hopefully they will draw strength from this as they are religious xxxx
