Hi Taxi,
Just caught up with where you are - congrats on weight loss and imagine how well you can do with diet when you are able to do more exercise. I thought your plan was great.
Wouldn't Lake District be a good place for you if you like country drives and views - and not too far but may be too familiar? Lastminute and laterooms are both good places to try if you want a hotel. Or Bournemouth is good if you want to walk on the flat - lovely prom and a train to catch if you are tired.
However just read dreadful news about dt and her grandaughter - sending prayers for the family as I am sure her grand daughter doesn't need them. I cannot imagine anything worse for them but if they are religious I hope their faith will be a comfort.
