Glad you've got the info - you 're doing so well! The grades aren't as 'scary' as they used to be (mine was aggressive grade 4) because so much has changed treatment-wise. Hope you get the right news from the insurance on monday! Hope the bra fund is full very soon! Love kxLose The Beef Challenge

It's not the destination...
.............................. ...it's the glory of the ride!0 -
Taxi, I'm just echoing others really. Don't want it to be grade 3, but ... yes, clear nodes!!!.... excellent. And wow, Lenza, you had aggressive grade 4 - the grades seem to refer to size and spread mostly, I guess thats what the 20mm is about.
I hope you can get that soft bra soon too! And now I'm fairly sure I'm not getting anything similar, I'm going to get critical illness cover, which is what we were all talking about when you were first diagnosed. Reading what you're doing day to day, I can really understand why that lump sum becomes so important.
PMA all the way....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I'm like some others here and not too sure about the technicalities but if you're happy with the result so am I
Lots of luv Taxi and take some time to feel the sunshine on your face, it's supposed to be a lovely weekend.

Hi Taxi
Sending lots of rest vibes.
If you feel up to it, try a walk a few houses along. The fresh air might be good.
Also, don't forget to drink lots of water in this heat - I felt quite awful this morning because I was dehydrated.
Take care of you.
Much love

The grades range from 1-4 ....the lower the better(not that cancer is good in anyway)
4 usually means it has spread...
Mine is a 3 due to it's aggressiveness...I caught it just in time as it wouldn't have been long until it was in the lymph nodes!!!
Think it is a 3b....
https://www.breastcancercare.org.uk is a fantastic site for information on absolutely everything to do with breast cancer...it's where I've had to learn so much.
I have now ordered 2 bras from Marisote at £18.25 in the sale..they should be here tuesday....then i can pay for them next week so sorted.
I have been for a walk up the street to DS house for a brew earlier(I went in my nighty and dressing gown..lol) and he walked me back up the street as well and I didn't feel faint..so that's another positive.
Healthy eating is going ok if I ignore the oreos I ate before...oops.
There are no biscuits or rubbish in the house now so should be easier.
Just watching Kylie on Jonathon ross talking about BC ...she is still very visibly upset talking about it...it's 5 years since shewas diagnosed.0 -
Well, I'm glad you had someone with you if you were on the street in your nightie, lol!
Seriously, I can understand Kylie still being upset 5 years after - its got to be life changing for everyone, even if the outcome is as good as hers was.
Okay, stage 3b .... that makes sense, having a read of the stages on the link there.
You're being amazing, Taxi, I think you're wonderful.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Ahh..thanks...
Just thought posting a link made it easier for anyone to understand rather than me trying to explain it...lol
Great site that one though and very easy to understand...
What i meant about Kylie was that I really felt for her as she had tears in her eyes and was fiddling with her clothes and looked very uncomfortable ....poor thing
I don't see myself as being amazing...life has to go on for me and it has brought it home to me not to take everything for granted.I need to be grateful and make the most of everyday.....as you never know what is around the corner.
I don't know what my prognosis is and at the end of the day a specialist can only guess but there are positives within my results....it is a stage 3 and it's not in my lymph nodes and I still have both breasts and I don't need further surgery ...so all positives....
Chemo is probably needed due to being stage 3....but I think I'd rather have it anyway as any single cell that may be lurking anywhere will be killed off.
I will get through this step by step and I will fight this just as anybody else would...0 -
This sounds awful saying congratulations on the results, as there a grade 3, but as you say the good news is it was contained and they have been able to remove it without chopping too much out.
Good 4 u, getting out to see ds, totally agree re nightie and dressing gown, u could be starting a fashion trend!!
Guess they want you to build your health up before the treatment, but ur on the right path, and we're all behind you.
May be worth looking into the DLA side of things now u know the treatment plan, as you may need someone to be with you when ucome back from chemo.
You take care, ur a wonderful lady, and don't u forget that. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thanks mum2one...
Will look into DLA but don't think I'll get it anyway...it's hard to get that one.0 -
DELIGHTED to hear that it hadn't spread any, Taxi. That's really good news.
The rest can be dealt with in time.
Keep organicing and resting. xPlease call me 'Pickle'
