Hope the nightie wasn't see through lol ....
I'm looking into dietry advice with the fibroids myself .... I'm finding most are inagreement with the basics ( which is good) but have found some contradictory stuff about supplements ... It's a case of digging deeper isn't it ....
I am determined if I can manage things without the need for an opperation then that is the way forward for me0 -
Hi EL, don't know if this'll be any use, but my sister has had fibroids removed twice. She's (38) trying to conceive and is trying to avoid IVF at the moment, so she's started seeing an acupuncturist and said it's changed her life!
She lives in the States, and said that this woman has regulated her body and sorted out her previously irregular periods, she said she feels so much better. She was advised to give up wheat, dairy, caffeine and alcohol and has to take vitamin D drops. She said she wishes she'd done it years ago. It might be worth looking into for you? Hope that's of some help0 -
Since when have oreo's not been part of a healthy diet anyway? I fear I may have been seriously mislead over all these years :rotfl:
Seriously, though, I am glad that things are going as well as they can be expected to in the circumstances. Remember, every day you may feel completely different things - physically, and emotionally. There will be positive days, and there will be some that are not so great - that's ok, it is all part of the process.
I hope today is a sunshiney day for you and that there is lots of positivity around you. One thing is for sure, that if people could be cured by good wishes, you would be well on the road to recovery by now!

Thanks all...I just wish that I could muster some energy and a bit of concentration would be good..lol
I have received a form from the jobcentre about my sickness benefit....called a limited capability for work questionairre it asks all sorts of stuff about how my illness affects me and I may need to go for a medical...it's not dis similar to a DLA form...if they want to subject people with cancer to medicals ...I think that is out of order....how about targetting the people claiming that aren't sick....this is for £65 per week CONTRIBUTION BASED benefits as well....0 -

Good grief. Thats appalling. And I know that up and down the south coast, there are so many holiday towns with people migrating to them claiming benefits, who could work perfectly well, its a huge sub-culture. I hope you can tick every box.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I have to fill this form in so that they decide whether I need a medical to claim the benefit I have worked for....
do they actually think I'd rather live on £65 p/w than £300-£500 that I bring in on the cab...idiots...
Managed to get dressed earlier and go in the car with DH to get diesel...I do lead an exciting life...lol and to the car wash but glad we got delayed before going as when we got there a car was at the front of the car wash with a smashed windscreen....the dryer had malfunctioned and instead of clearing the car came straight down on the windscreen...that could've been our car...0 -
Ooh, that was a close call with the car then :eek:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Blimey! How scary - I just jetwashed mine for the first time in years. I'll think twice before using one of the drive thru ones again....
And double   about the benefit. It really does beggar belief...........I'm speechless. I guess you just have to go through the motions and not think about it too much, it's just too annoying.
Hope it gets sorted soon x0
