Thank god it wasn't u both in the carwash, know its not nice for anyone, I don't trust carwashes, had the misfortune of getting stuck in one, can laugh now but it was scary.
Drove in as normal, the roller bit was washing the windscreen, whilst the rest was soaping up, remember thinking that hasn't moved, looked at the clock, then realised I'd been there in same position for 5 mins, tried to phone 999 to get the fire bridgage, the petrol station was nxt dr to it, no signal, couldn't open any windows or doors theres me purping the horn, another car behind me, 15 mins later, the attendant finally comes and stops the machine, drive out all soapy and he said do u want to go back in....... NO........ this was back in 1998, always remember ngt b4 my graduation, and just had nails done...... going back then it caused over £300s worth of damage, (garage quote), the garage admitted liability eventually only after I started court proceedings...... Never again xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Gosh that sounds awful about the car wash taxi!

The benefits system stinks, Taxi - but hopefully when you fill in the form they will see sense and not call you for a medical. When I started my claim, I also got that form, I think it is fairly standard. I didnt get called for a medical for a further 6 months and even then it wasnt bad - they just go over the information and in my case were quite satisfied that I was unable to work. I am now 6 months after my medical and just have had another form re medical information to fill in - having been claiming for 18 months. I am expecting to be called in for another medical and hope that this one is as straightforward. I felt exactly the same as you - I would earn far more not off sick, do they really think I would put myself through all this for the amount they were paying! I dont get any other benefits because my husband works, so Im not exactly bankrupting the country - although not getting paid is slowly bankrupting me!!!

    Have a good weekend, LIlo

  • Glad to hear about things taking a positive turn Taxi. Pain re benefit system i know, i am sure they feel it as much as you do. xx

Hi Taxi, just having a big catch up with everything. Glad that your op went well and that all your extra scans have come back clear. Hope the insurance company are happy with the paperwork they have got so that they can pay you out. Your food and smellys sound lovely too.
Glad you are getting some rest. Hope your OH is taking care of himself too. x x x x
