Just wondering if you are managing to read - I suggested a good book (or a not so good book come to think of it) but as Karmacat said when ill it is difficult to read properly because you do get tired and not read enough so keep reading the same page.

Would magazines help? If so pm me with address and I can send some - I've found them easier because you can just read an aerticle and leave it rather than keep going.

Good luck for tomorrow with ins co and BCN news too.

When my FiL came out of hospital after a major back op, he couldn't hold a book for long as he was lying down. I bought him a book from Amazon and unbeknown to me, it was a talking book.

He said it was great and really helped pass the time, so perhaps that would be an idea? I think you can get them from the library Taxi.

    Thanks you two.....

I don't have the concentration for books at the moment but am hoping to feel a little stronger in the next few days..then I have a load of them to read.

Think I'll feel a lot better when the weather cools off...though hear it's going to be really hot this weekend.

The eating plan sounds sensible and delicious too. Even though I am following ww at the mo I'm still eating regular 'proper' snacks like fruit or a slice of toast every few hours - nutritionist recommended this method and it certainly helps me keep from binging because my sugar levels slump. I do toast at 4 pm for the kids at work and at one time when I was on a 'diet' I cut this out - it was torture - then I'd come home and have crisps and whatever I could find as I couldn't wait till dh came in and we'd have tea. So I find a 'planned' snack helps me in the long run.

BCN sounds like she is taking good care of you - as are your family. Just go with the flow......... big hugs to you all.
