Hi Taxi, I would echo what everyone else has said, it's not even a week since your op and as KC said, you will still have the anaestetic (sp) in your system.

I know it's not the same thing, but when I had DD2 my friend said her midwife told her to stay indoors for 10 days - the baby could be taken out, but she should rest. I know it's not popular nowadays, but 30-40 years ago, I know it was the norm to stay in hospital that long. I felt fine and was up and about going to the supermarket ready for my inlaws coming up - I ended up being really ill because I did too much too soon.

So PLEASE, so expect too much of yourself, I know you must be itching to get back to normal - and you will, just wrap yourself in cottonwool for now :A

But seriously, what everyone is saying makes sense. Sleep tight and I'm glad the internet shopping went well. x

Okay, you've got a right chorus telling you to rest! You sound like you are now, actually Taxi - can you concentrate on reading at all? Even when I'm "ordinary ill", I can't, I must say, and I love reading - it'd be DVDs for me in your shoes. I guess this is where online stuff comes in again.

    Sleep tight. xxx

    Morning all....
Thanks for the wishes and I am resting honestly...so no need to worry there.

One GP over the phone said that I was getting agrophobic and needed to do more and make the effort !!!!!....think he got completely the wrong end of the stick....I wish I could get out...lol...

The GP that I actually saw last night said my BP was too low and because of the sheer heat as well...this was the reason that I was feeling faint most of the time.
He also suggested that I eat 5 or 6 small meals a day to keep my blood sugar stable and not to put any more weight on...makes sense to me....maybe I'll lose weight that way...
I might even write what I eat on here...not follow diet like WWs etc but a really healthy one and see where that gets me as I do need to lose weight.
