It really does make sense about the heat, and the small meals etc. I am actually a great believer in more small meals/decent snacks throughout the day when I am trying to keep my blood sugar stable, and it does help my metabolism too so on a weight basis is good for me. I try and eat every 3 hours - 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and even a bowl of porridge or something at 10pm if I am hungry before bed.

    As for agoraphobic....well, :rotfl:

Hope you have a good day x

That was exactly my reaction Hypno....LOL

I hate staying in...and would love nothing better than a walk around the block but if I faint..that won't be a pretty sight..lol

As for eating 6 times a day am definitely going to give that a go...thanks for the timings as they really help me..was wondering How I was going to fit it all in.

It does initially seem a lot of mealtimes, but if you think about it as:

    7am - breakfast
    10am - decent snack
    1pm - lunch
    4pm - decent snack
    7pm - dinner
    10pm - supper if needed

Then actually it doesn't seem too much! Your "snacks" could be something like fruit and yoghurt, they don't need to be "proper" meals just as long as they are decent enough to keep you going.

I know its frustrating for you to have to rest as youre normally out and about but your body is telling you to rest so that it can heal itself...the Ocado shop sounds great! Very organised. The only one I ever did was mr t's and it was a mare...bizarrely substituted items that I didnt want or need! What have you got in the woulnd? Is it like a build up of fluid? Poor you...hope they manage to sort it soon without pain for you :) Hope plan for today is going slow, eating little and often with a snooze along the way!

The Seroma (or whatever it's called) is fluid in the bit where they took the tumour.

Am going to have a little lie down again shortly...have just had a yoghurt...and 250ml of Mango, apple and grapefruit juice plus a banana earlier.

I like that whole "small meals/large snacks idea", it sounds sensible all round.

Hi Taxi just popping in to say hello glad you are taking the advice re resting.

Small frequent meals is the way to go its what I am doing on this diet and it does keep my blood sugars even so I don't feel hungry.

Hope the insurance pays up soon.

    Hugs and love

    Thanks all

had a good 2 hours sleep this afternoon and feel better for it.

I think eating every few hours is a good idea..

    Today so far I've eaten
    banana
    yoghurt
cheese and tomato sandwich on seeded bread
    some biscuits...ooops
baked salmon ,mashed pots and carrots with cheese sauce...

I've also drunk a 250ml Mango, apple and blackcurrant juice and a big glass of Apple and cherry juice...both of thesewere organic and pressed juices and not from concentrates...so full of vitamins...

Everything I've eaten was organic except the salmon and cheese sauce

I will probbably have some fruit later....

If I was doing WWs I would probably have been in my points allowance...

I've also drunk about 4 cups decaf tea

BCN phoned to see how I was today...and will be phoning back tomorrow after the meeting....so here's hoping she has some results..

The CMO is in tomorrow at the insurance..so here's hoping for results there.

Apart from that nothing much going on around here.
