  • Just checked in to your diary and so very pleased to hear of your positive scan results today! Have fun with the breadmaker - I have one - but am v lazy with it.....it's fine once you get in the flow so to speak, but when you fall out of the flow......you can guess. And it's not like it's hard to measure out the ingredients, which is all you have to do really....so am bad and must do better. I have several breadmachine cookbooks and would happily send you one - just pm me if you're interested. Would rather someone had it and used it than it sit on my shelf....

And best of luck for Friday

  • Good news Taxi with all your clear test results. You've done remarkably well with your NHS care and I hope this gives you faith for your op. One day is usual and if you need more you will get it. Be assured.

Very, very best wishes to you Lenza - the waiting is terrible, but I love your description of it - it raised a smile. As with Taxi, in my thoughts.

Thanks Hiphouse...I have every faith in my surgeon as I've heard he's very thorough..I am confident that we can defeat this beast....there is always so much to throw at cancer nowadays so if something isn't working..something else probably will.

Fantastic news today Taxi - I'm really pleased for you :)
Let's hope that positivity goes Lenza'a way too. I've prayed for you both, though being a lapsed Catholic I don't know whether they'll get through :o
Must ask DT to put in a good word for me!

Taxi, I once read about a lady who when going in for an op, asked the surgeon and theatre staff to only talk in positive sentences during the operation and when she was in recovery, as apparently, this aids speedy recover. Sorry if it sounds a bit hippie-dippy but thought it might be worth a mention.....

So pleased that you have had such a good day Taxi and that things are going your way.

What a positive way to approach Friday:j:j

We had a Panasonic too bread was good - too good we gave it away in the end because for me good bread has to have lashings of butter too :o

Hope you have some good weather for the next few days so that you can enjoy it and of course don't forget to spoil yourself :A
