Thanks Pickle....I think it's too early myself to be out on Saturday but the consultant says people recover better when at home.I'm lucky that DD is on a fortnight off from work..so isn't back at work until the thursday following my op...and DS is only a few doors down from me so only a phone call away so that DH can still work.
They will only send me home if I'm well enough though.0 -
Thanks you two..as I've said before the NHS is really good when needed....every dept has been good.

Taka can't wait to try the breadmaker out...it will soon be earning it's keep x
It was fun- we went up the Tower, Sealife and when it was persisting it down we were in the Lifeboat station..so hardly got wet at all:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I guess people do, cos they feel better about being in their usual surroundings, but I'm reassured to see that they'll only send you home if you are well enough.
Nice to see that you have plenty of people around to help as well. Now is the time to make up for all that running around you did for your children when they were little.
