    Thank you everybody....
It is truly amazing the kindness of people when they know...the manager asked if I'd like a facial or anything to just pop in and she'd sort it,hand masage etc etc....didn't even know they did that sort of stuff.
My poor friend with cancer offered to take me to hospital appointments.
WWs man when I was cancelling because of BC gave full refund both for me and son(son is bi polar and won't go on his own)
Marisota..when the order wasn't moving and they said it was going to be here for up to another week and I said to her that I was awaiting a op for BC and it could be very soon(was waiting for date at that time)....the order came the next day.

All you lovely people with your kind words it all helps me have a nice day..lol

Manuka honey....a lot of peopleswear by it for it's anti bacterial properties.I don't know much about it only that the higher strength it is the better and that it's expensive...will have a read up on it before buying any as it won't be good for teeth ..lol

Thanks LT....am supposedly out of hospital sometime on the saturday..

It's my liver scan tomorrow so another test done in the battle....I'm not expecting it to have spread there...the swelling on my tummy is probably just fat..lol

I was worried about my bone scan due to a lot of pain but luckily that was clear...

Not heard anything about results for my chest x ray but assume they are ok as well.

Didn't come on last night as had a sleep and then went to DS3 house...he lives on my street so not far ..lol

DH had a great night last night..so am happy about that....and so is he.

No plans at all for today..so am still in pjs

Hope everyone has a good day x

Manuka honey worked really well for me taxi, I have no idea if it does or it's a placebo but you only need a tiny amount per day, my immune system definitely improved when I was having it regularly.

Hi everyone..have had a good day...

Thanks everyone for the links I will investigate those.

Also popped in bodyshop and picked up some muslin cloths and stuff..she also gave me a hug..the manager was really nice and said she was going to ring me and keep in touch and also offered massage ..how nice was that?...I had never met her before but when she found I'd got cancer she was amazing...they gave me a few pots of stuff to try..bless her.

Oh , how lovely . It certainly restores your faith in human nature. There are some really lovely people out there. You deserve it:A

Taxi, don't be surprised by the kindness shown to you...you are a wonderful lady. Having met you I can vouch for that.
Also, despite being hit by many setbacks along your path to be debt free, you haven't moaned and whined and complained about how unfair life is....you have picked yourself up and carried on. You have cleared an amazing amount of debt but still enjoyed your family and life.

Now, you have been dealt a cruel blow with the breast cancer, but you found it and dealt with the lump straight away by going to your GP....many would have waited a month or two, especially when told by GP that it was probably nothing.
Still, you are battling on, you have pushed for more tests and scans to make sure it hasn't spread and now you are trying to change your lifestyle to give yourself the best chance of a complete recovery.
With your attitude, no wonder people are happy to help and offer support.

If good wishes and prayers can aid your recovery, then with the support of the forum, once you have had the op, you will be on your path to full health.

So pleased that DH had a good night last night, it will make him feel so much better, especially with the car expenses lined up.

Let's hope that your consultant sorts out the critical illness form, I do sometimes think that the self employed get overlooked as we don't qualify for 'full' sick pay or paid compassionate leave or even paid holiday leave.

Love and hugs to you and the family......Mrs Twit :kisses3:

    Hi Taxi

Just popping in to wish you all the best for tomorrow.

Re the honey my sister took some very expensive honey she got direct from Israel don't know whether it made any difference but boy was it expensive about £70 a small jar from memory but you don't take much.

You are doing really well with your preparations and I am glad OH had good night.

Take care hun and get as much rest as you can:A

    Thanks all....

Well the PJ day turned into quite a busy afternoon..lol

DD needed a lift to Lytham to a barbecue(shame it's been raining all afternoon) so I dropped the subs cheque into the office, dropped her off ,had a nice drink of juicethen onto Booths for organic bread and organic potaotes ..they had neither!!!!...so onto Asda for the same stuff...spent £38 ...oh dear!!!..then filled up with diesel then home where DH had cooked dinner. I did buy 2 packs of my favourite green and blacks biscuits and 2 bars of green and blacks chocolate....sod the bills..lol

Does any of you use a breadmaker?

If you do how easy would it be for me to make organic bread and get the ingredients?

I'm really struggling to get organic bread so had a mad idea about making my own...hence wondering about these breadmakers...DH said I can have anyone I want...but don't know anything about them...

Please let me know if you know anything...

Off to post a thread in the really frugal bit now..

    Hi Taxi
I've never used a breadmaker, but would think you can get just about organic everything. Certainly, flour - even yeast I'd imagine. Or you can ask at the supermarket bakery, they should give you some fresh stuff. I was always dubious, but have asked a few times and they are always very obliging.

Let me know if you decide on the bread maker - and check out OS thread, they have recommendations for the best ones :)

afternoon...your thread is expensive lol...mum now wants the organic shampoo cos it smells edible...thankfully theres a local stockist lol!
re breadmake I would juts do it by hand - if you want an easy recipe let me know and i'll hunt it out. Its less airy than shop bought because its got less air in it but in my book you cant beat it! I had a break maker and sold it as didnt like the shape of the bread; it was often tempremental and in my book just wasnt worth the faff..also a good anger management tool if youve had a bad day lol! The recipe I do is a no knead one so you literally mix the yeast and sugar with warm water, add to flour and pinch of salt with water; squidge it, put it in the loaf tins and leave for half hour to rise and then bake...yummy delicious bread!
Hang in there and well done so far. Good that OH had a good day - must be a worry and frustrating for him. Fingers crossed the payment comes soon so at least you can relax a bit and focus on getting well. Thinking of you :) big hugs...
