Taxi, whilst in Morrisons today, I bought some organic new potatoes 750g bag for £1.19.
Looking at the bag though, they are from Israel...."grown to strict organic standards supporting wildlife & the enviroment" quite how the airmiles fits in with this I'm not sure

I'll have a think about what organic stuff I've seen around and let you know.

Good luck for the scan tomorrow Taxi, you're bound to be worried but I am sure everything will be fine.

It is amazing and reassuring the human kindness which is shown when things are difficult.

I think a breadmaker is a good idea. My friend got hers off freecycle. She also did a lot of juices and got a good blender.

Hi Taxi - the organics sound good, and there's so much available nowadays just in supermarkets... the choice here is probably a bit wider than round you, even now, sadly. Have you heard of Infinity Food Stores? They were the UK's first food cooperative, they're massive, do their own importing now and everything, and their stuff sells in other shops - an awful lot of what they do is organic.

I am a very naughty girl what can I say.....

I have just reserved the last panasonic SD255 for collection tomorrow.....it has great reviews on here and all over the net...what the hell you only live once(hope DH is having a good night tonight as well)...the machine is nearly £100 but will save me a small fortune as he eats warburtons wholemeal at £1.24 a loaf and my organic loaves range from £1.89 -£2.22...

Most people use Dove Farm yeast...dove farm are usually organic stuff..I have seen dove farm organic flours....I have organic sugar in...

I'll be quite sufficient when I get my head around growing my veg and baking my bread..lol...

Never heard of Infinity food stores

I'm sorry to say that I think Blackpoolis behind the times regarding organic produce...Asda is quite good for veg but didn't have any organic butter or fruit juices !!!!
Tesco has a half decent range but not nearly as much as Ocado online.

I have a kenwood smoothie maker and a very expensive juicer but you needs loads of fruit to make a dect amount of juice...

I'm drinking PIP ..cloudy apple juice..fresh organic pressed fruit juice at the moment..it is delicious...£3.69 per litre but this contains the juice from at least 19 organic apples it says and is not from concentrate...so the price doesn't seem too bad put that way.

Used the new deodrant today and it smells delicious....it is pomegranite..lol

    Hi Taxi,
Wow you have been busy, I took my inlaws to York minster today and whilst there took the oppertunity say a few words " Please look after Mrs Taxi" then i had a little giggle to myself before i finished. Im sure he knows who i was talking about but it did seem a liitle strange, good luck for this week you are very organised.
Mother in law had a stroke a few years ago and swears by manuka honey everyday and Tai Chi, she is remarkable you wouldnt know she had been through anything. I have just started taking the honey daily and have given up the hayfever tablets well worth the investment for me.

All the best for today, Taxi - good for you for going with the breadmaker, I'm sure that'll make a difference.

    Love the name thing!
