Morning all...am all ready to go...but my appointment isn't until 11.15am...
All the organic toiletries are heavenly and I smell lovely..lol
Am dying for a brew but will have to wait as am not allowed anything to eat or drink for 6 hours before...
Will catch you all later x0 -
hi taxi, I used to handmake bread alot when kids were younger - have a panasonic now and it's great (once you get used to the slightly odd shape of the loaf and the fact that the whole lot disappears within 10 minutes!). Not using it as much as we should right now - time to give it a dust-off:).
Hope today goes well - get my latest results tomorrow. I've been getting a bit antsy which for me reveals itself by being 'bored' like a ten year old in the summer hols whose mates have all gone away. "Why don't you go for a walk?" "Don't want to" and so on :rotfl:
I've got used to it all now so am quite cool about the whole business. Am on Day 4 of healthy eating so need to remember to take lunch with me as appointments always run late.
Speak soon

I'm going doo lally..it was Tesco I shopped at...LOL.
I'm alright when I sleep during the day but usually only sleep if I'm exhausted..
At the moment I just sleep when I want to.
I'm trying to have everything organic at the moment....
I am however having difficulty finding 100% organic toiletries..some say organic and then are only 70% organic...anyone any ideas for anywhere that has 100% organic toiletries.
Boots have a naked range and they are only 17% -77% organic!!!
http://www.theremustbeabetterway.co.uk/ I found this in my Vegetarian Society magazine - they have an Aubrey (sp?) range that they claim is 100% natural and organic- I can't buy anything unless I can read the packaging because a lot of them contain almond oil (which they don't always state) and that will burn my skin

Firstly Lenza..good luck for tomorrow..the agony of waiting is awful...
I have had a great day today....
The Macmillan form came today ..so filled it in..it was easy....so that I could take it to the BCN after scan.
With the time before the scan...I managed to do the banking and pick up my new Panassonis SD255 breadmaker...
Then went for scan and was told there and then there were no nasties...hooorah!!!!!!!
Then took the form to BCN office ..she wasn't there ..so left it with one of the other BCNs
Then as my mate with cancer lived by the hospital...popped to hers for a much needed brew and chatter as you do.
Whilst I was there my BCN phoned to say that she was just filling the rest of the form in..so I asked about my chest x ray....and that is all clear too...hoorah!!!!!...
Put the phone down and there was a voice message from the consultants secretary....bless her....telling me that consultant had filled the form in and it was sent in this afternoons post....Hooray!!!!!!!
So a very positive, happy day today .....I feel on top of the World....
Not many battles to go now....
Thursday...I will phone the insurance to see if they have the letter and also go to complimentary therapy appointment
Friday...Go to hospital have dye put in....then have beasty removed and sentinel nodes
Saturday...home to be pampered and waited on hand and foot ...lol(hopefully)
Tuesday and Wednesday free days...no plans at all yet...may or may not do something exciting ..lol
I have not bought any stuff for breadmaker yet but have read the book and it looks easy peasy....but I'll wait until I see the results first ..lol
Hope everyone has had a good day x0 -
What a lovely post Taxi. So nice to see how the services all get into gear for the greater good.x
Was in your neck of the woods yesterday with the girl guides..had a great day in spite of the rainBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
:j I'm so happy for you Taxi! :j
I luuuurve my Breadmaker. There is nothing like the smell of freshly baked bread in the morning (I normally set the timer on my MR fastbake overnight so its ready for when I wake up). Only downside so far has been trying not to demolish half a loaf as soon as it is ready and remembering to put the paddle back in after cleaning it!:rotfl:
PS Good luck Lenza!Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Taxi's happy...hurrah!
Forms are filled in...hurrah!
Scan results...hurrah!
X Ray results...as good as the scan results...double hurrah!
Panasonic breadmaker...jealous hurrah! :rotfl: (Let me know how it goes cos I love the sound of it! And maybe that's what you can do Tuesday and Wednesday IN BETWEEN RESTING!)
Seriously though, I'm surprised and happy that they let you out on Saturday. We expect you to be resting and don't want to hear of 'I just did this' etc. after your op for a little while. *Wags finger*
Best of luck and keep up the hurrahs for today! :T
*EDIT* D'oh! :doh:That's Tuesday and Wednesday this week, not next week.I thought you were being very thorough planning to be up and about and doing stuff! *Rolls eyes at self*
