People may knock the NHS but it does provide good care when needed to everybody and the range of treatments is amazing nowadays and so many people manage to lead a good life for many many years.

You are so right Taxi - when it comes to serious illness - the NHS is second to none and do not get enough praise for that.

I wouldn't have got better treatment if I'd paid privately...the extra tests my consultant is allowing must cost a fair bit and he could've said no but he didn't...he also has a very good reputation for being thorough....I am quite at ease with him..think he was taken aback by the amount of info I was asking him though..lol...

morning me lovely :) So pleased to hear that the insuranc will pay up! surely that means that you will be debt free?!! All very mse but a bit of an extreme measure isnt it?!! Bet thats a load off your mind. Great that you are getting on with nurse and consultant...v important that you trust them in the months ahead. Well done on booking the hair and getting new trogs...if you have chemo later so be it but you may not have to so would be a shame to feel bleugh when you dont have to :) May try and get mum into local college to ge hers done!
Hope you have a good day..I agree btw re the not joining ww for now. unless you want to...

    Morning Taxi & gang.

I was so pleased to read that your Critical Illness cover is sounding more hopeful, and it should ease the pressure on Mr Taxi feeling as though he has to be superman and cover hours for both of you.
You've not got a very good day today weather wise....typical Blackpool Bank Holiday weather.

Love and hugs to you both :kisses3:
