thanks Taxi, I am sat here crying actually, I can't believe I let some faceless person on here upset me so much, you know if we were really struggling with our debts and our outgoings then of course we would have to prioritise but I work hard, I always have, so does my husband and the only thing that gets me through sometimes is knowing that we have a week to look forward to spending with our kids, whether that be camping in cornwall or yes a holiday abroad, is it so wrong to do that if we save for it whilst still paying our debts off?
Maybe I'm just having a bad dayAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
Please Millie..listen nobody else is judging whether you take holidays or not.
I've had a few holidays myself since starting here 3 years ago...all of them foreign..lol...my reasons being exactly the same as yours...spending time with my family...we are like you passing ships....
People are not meant to be judgemental on here and most are truly not...
BUT,Think of it this way there are a few million subscribers here and at the end of the day you will get the odd bad apple...please don't let it put you off.0 -
I know, it's just this particular bad apple seems to have a vendetta just for me, even to the point of previously telling me I have no right to try and advise anybody with debts when I have them myself as I'm not exactly a good role model
personally I feel that when you have been in debt yourself qualifies you more than most to advise others as you can share experiences
anyway, I come on here tonight to read your diary and wish you the best and look at me, I'm so sorry to have sidetracked your diary like this, totally unfair!, I'll get back to trying to catch up xxAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -

How are you supposed to advise without experience?
