    Some great ideas there folks..Thanks.
Don't know which way I'll do it yet.I'm working through the contents of the freezers at the moment....(diet will have to wait until the freezers are empty)...so it's sausages tomorrow...and whatever(whatever we have in will do)....so will be no shopping tomorrow as far as I can see.
I had a NSD on my own personal/shopping spending ...
Business wise....what can I say !!!!...the last couple of days....£1011...insurance...£40 diesel.....£240 car service....£225 annual car wash....GOOD JOB I THEY ARE ALL TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

Have been busy today...dealing with car stuff, banks etc.
Car had it's service and a new caliper and brake pads fitted....then went and paid for car wash and had car washed.Back home, then to office to take copy of cover note for office...forgot whilst there picked up some work t shirts and sweatshirts so another £40...onto bank....
Thought I'd give Halifax another try...they are still idiots though...so just opened a reward account to get £5 p/m....was going to make it into my normal account but they were only allowing me £100 O/D ..their loss...needed to put £100 in DHS cashcard account...you can't pay over the counter with that one apparently so had to come home and set up an account to transfer from my A+L to his Halifax....what are they like?
Washing is on.pots washed and and hoovering done so time for a rest now.

I've got to the point where I hate branch based accounts. I will do anything to not go into a branch. Luckily we have a bank on campus and they will deal with all banks' accounts (some agreement they've got for staff) and I will go there rather than a branch in town. I hate the fact that they try to sell me stuff and then if I do agree then they can't get it right. I will now really focus on internet accounts. I love smile and have just signed up to First Direct and cannot fault them.

I love the pots idea but can't be bothered to deal with the hassel!

Think I'm just going to throw the spare into the mortgage account as the interest is really poor on the internet accounts....but if I do that it doesn't seperate the different stuff I need to save up for...gosh..it's hard!!!

I received the card for Tesco savings account this morning(did it for the points) so have now registered it.
I got up late this morning....so not going into work today.
I must go to bed early tonight so as to get up early tomorrow.I really do need to start going to work everyday.
Nothing planned today for me....just hung the washing out to dry, going to wash a couple of pots in a minute a but first need this cup of tea..lol...
Weather is nice today so if my leg is up to it later will go for a walk.
I will have stoppedc smoking for 6 weeks tomorrow...it's been harder this week as I'm on the lower patches and it does make a difference...feel a little nervy this week but haven't fallen back on the imhalator thingy .
Hope everyone's having a good day.

Just opened an Egg savings account thanks to info on Hypnos thread and DT.It's 3.25% for a year which is really good so will help somewhere with the challenge.
Perhaps with the tax, overpaying for loans or the 0% cards...will have a good think later.

Tea was surprisingly tasty so am quite proud of myself.
Have a few little jobs to do so will list them.
(1)Go to Aldi or Lidl and pick up bits..was going to get them tomorrow but am going to work.
    (2)Dry pots and put away
    (3)Hoover downstairs
(4)Transfer some money into different accounts
    (5)Post electoral roll thingymebob
    (6)Shred paperwork
    (7)Bring washing in.
(8)Put another lot in and then hang out.

I've been having a good old think today...fuelled by Hypnos thread this morning...
    I now have a plan....
(1)..Put money in Egg account every week for tax and other stuff..this is called my debtfree pot...very apt.
(2)Make a PAD of £10 ...thisis what I would've spent on cigs to Virgin...while waiting to see if A+L are going to issue me the BT.
(3)All loose change to be paid in cash to Halifax or Barclays.

I've just ordered £40 from paypal and as soon as that hits my account I will transfer it to my Egg account along with any other MSE ways of making money.

    That's my plan anyway.
