    Shame about no chocolate LT...
All I need to do now is the shredding and sorting it out into months for the accountant.
    I'm so tired tonight.
  • It,s good for the mind - sorting all that paperwork out ! Maybe I should take a leaf out of your book !!:T:T

Afternoon all...gosh I'm tired today!!!...not been up long.
Have counted the jar of money and what was in my coat pockets...there was £45...so not a bad find...that will go off one of the CCs when I'm passing along with some other change in the house.
Dinner is braised steak, new potatoes and veg agaain today.
It will also be another NSD as I'm not going anywhere.
I've the takings from monday to put in the bank but it will do that tomorrow now.

Not a lot else going on here.
Forgot to add DHs CC bill came in today so have updated in the first post!!!...I still haven't decided yet where the money for taxi insurance, car service and annual car wash is coming from yet.

Decided to have a walk down to the bank after all.
Whilst out I nipped in little Tesco and bought w/m loaf 99p....blu ribband biscuits..9 pack...£1...and pack 12 hula hoops £1...total 2.99.
    Then over to Lidls 10 eggs 97p..mature cheddar (2x400g) ..£1.29 each and 1.796kg vine tomatoes (50p kg)...so 90p and a carrier bag 3p...total £4.48

So with £2.41 spent the other day shopping bill is only...£9.88..will be interesting to see how little I can make it by the end of the month .

Morning you two and welcome.Nice of you both to come out of lurkdom.
Baileysbabe...my budget is £40.00 as I've got quite a bit of stuff in and it's only a fortnight in total.I've never set an amount before.I just normally go to the shops and buy what I want. It's funny the amount of stuff you put in a trollley without giving it a 2nd thought, though.Well,no longer.I will also after my cupboards and fridge and freezers are empty be doing a meal plan as I'm sure that will keep the cost down.
Dottyanne...I remember you from quite a while ago as well..definitely know the one about kids...lol...(unfortunately mine now borrow in big amounts as they are all grown up)...I think there is quite a bit to be saved on shopping so more left to pay to debt.

Have checked my banking and one of my loans has come out today so will update my sig.The good news is all my loan amounts in the 1st post have the totals including the interest already so I can knock the whole loan payment off.

Going to nip out shortly and fill the car,go and pay for the insurance(will need to go to the brokers as they need some documents) and I will check mileage to see how close we are to servicing and nip in and book that.

Hope everyone is having a good day...raining here!!!

how are you managing on the £40 budget taxi? i see things are going great in alot of ways....are you finding it sustainable though? i find this is where most of my wastage goes ...i have tried meal planning it didnt work ..we would come in for the day and just not fancy what we had agreed on that we were having .... how can i effectively decide on a sunday what i am going to want the next friday ...i have tried only shopping everyday for what we were in the mood for...that worked a little bit better...but i am still finding i must be chucking out abut £1-£2 a week on food (if not more some weeks) i think if i managed to get on top of this i think we would be laughing ...its the last long lasting thing i just cant seem to get a grip of
