Excuse me, you asked someone not to park outside your house..

Yes, I asked somebody not to park outside my house.

I asked my neighbour, and being the neighbourly sort they did not have a problem with that.

You had no right to even ask them.

You only think they didn't have a problem with it.

I can't help but ask this question.

Have you missed something out, ie, did you actually ask the neighbour not to park there? or were you in the middle of a long running fued?

If not you may just have missed the opportunity of saving yourself £400 :rotfl::rotfl::confused:

Yup - several times (maybe twice a day for a month) intermittent..... :T

I am a jock you know! I do not make it a habit of wasting £400 - haha

LOL, he really doesn't get it does he mate?:confused:

Regards to my speaking to the neighbour and it being a little OTT (quoted from Liam) - I did speak to him and ask NOT to park in MY private space (my land) but he didn't listen. In the end I done what was necessary and it worked. Problem solved and to boot, I couldn't give a !!!!!! whether he speaks or not - I hope I inconvenienced him and if he does it again, so will I for 6 months (i'll buy my own ruddy skip!)

Thing is the law is the law - my land - his car = Trespass. Your scenario, public road - his car - tough!

In your post you did not say that you spoke to the neighbour first.

I have agreed with everything else that you have said, the only disagreement is that the first course of action should be to speak to somebody about your problem first.

The only bit of advice you have given on this thread is to contact a housing association?!

All other posts you have made are just argumentative comments with other posters.

I was trying to give some advice about how to solve the OP's problem, not get into petty arguments over things that have nothing to do with anything I have written.

Mate thats harsh - he did after all teach you that you have no right to ask someone to move that is parked out the front on the main road......

Inactive doesn't make a habit of trying to argue - but he was right and we all 'get him' whereas it appears you still slighly miss the point (tick, tock, tick tock)..... :D

I also agree with what Inactive was saying, but what they were saying did not really have anything to do with what I was saying.

I said my situation was the same sort of scenario, similar, but not the same.

The solution to the problem could be solved easily in both situations by talking to the neighbour.

If the solution was not solved by talking to the person, then the next step would be clearly different as in your case you can do what you want on your land, I never disagreed with any of that, so I don't see what the argument is?
