Not at all a bad idea, I don't mean number the spaces with the numbers of the flats, just something that tells the owners of each flat whos is who.

Mix the numbers up if you like, that would really confuse them.

Or use letters. Either way I suspect that the parking space has been reallocated and a word with the management company might help the OP to see the light.

I'll post it again because I cannot understand your problem Victoria. Why do you not just knock on the door and point out the error of their ways to the occupant?????????????.

If your oh is to wimpish, take a bigger bloke with you. Be quiker than all this typing;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

People don't seem to do that anymore in case they get thumped/stabbed/shouted at.
  • Are you sure you are not looking at the map on the lease the wrong way around? (just checking!)

    Hence the big bloke;)

But seriously, if people won't even talk to each other over such issues what chance is there:confused:

You must also expect there may be trouble as you suggested taking 'a bigger bloke', some people wont listen to reason even if they are in the wrong.
Let the lease holders sort it out.

For christs sake, the op seems afraid to actually ask the neighbour not to park in her space. However she gives NO indication that there may be a problem if she did. Has she said the NB is anti social?, a known trouble causer? or something similar???, no she hasn't. What she has said is she hasn't talked to them, her oh doesn't seem bothered. What other advice can be given?

    Take this issue anywhere official and there will only be one reply;

"Have you raised the issue with the people concerned"

A couple of questions for the OP.
How does anyone in your box of flats know which parking space belongs to them if there are no numbers? I feel that the landlord is at fault for not painting numbers in them, or for providing a simple unambiguous plan, so that no mistakes can be made.
I suggest that you try to speak to your neighbours face to face, not simply slipping notes through their door.
Have you ever spoken to the neighbours about anything?
Far too many problems in this World are caused by people not talking, about resentment building up, and then arguments starting.
As for taking a big bloke, who may have more "bottle" than your other half, what is this going to achieve?
Your neighbours may feel that they are in the right.

Why do you have two permits for one space?
Could you find out from any of the other neighbours which space is free to use?
