No idea lol,I had a letter saying they would amend after the 14th but I rang today and nothing has changed as yet so am u not sure. I'm going to do this month (end) budget on the premis that they will go to nil as I think I have been overpaid and to top it all they will then make me pay any overpayment thus adding to my debts :(

Yes thanks I've done so many budgets that have failed in the past because they were unrealistic and the main thing was I probably over estimated my income as in adding my bonus on aswell and as we all know the recession has pretty much stopped all bonuses for most people with the exception of the greedy bankers!!!

I'm planning to do a revised budget based on the lowest possible we bring in and any extra will be a bonus ans thrown at the debts

i have got eh formula for pro rata payments now and once i know the status with my tax credits am going to do a full SOA and budget and then write to my creditors with payment offers, one on hand one of my smaller debts (around 320.00) offered me a reduction to £264 if i pay within 30 days - i told them i will call them back - i think this may be do-able as i have quiet a bit of stuff to sell on ebay and th motivation of paying off a debt in full and final and being rid of one more debt will spur me on!! what does everyone think?

If you think you can manage it then the F & F rate sound good and as you say it will be a good feeling to watch it go. Only you know if it is realistic to get it paid though.
Good luck with your new SOA etc

what a rats !!! of a day at work today!! been one of those days in general, pay day at the end of the month but i really wanted to hear back of tax credits and maybe will do this week about any amendment to my claim, how am i supposed to redo my SOA without the correct figures? i have been offered a F & F on one of the smaller debts i have to just over £200 and thats my goal for Feb, to get rid of this one in full, i have another 3 that total around £500 each, so am aiming to clear one of these every 2 months, will do this by ebaying all i can and being as careful with money as humanly possible, i really want to make big headway into this debt this year, im going to have to ring my secured loan company too, the loan s/be paid up in April, 4 payment, but with all the charges and late payment fees that have accumulated over the 6 years i had the loan, they have added nearly 2k onto the cost, god knows how i am going to get this by end of april - does anyone have any experience of this on here that could offer me some advisce? thanks for listening, over and out..

    Sorry no experience on that!

I hope things are picking up a bit. I know what you mean about feeling like life is passing you by. I really need to make an effort to love more- just without spending more!!
